Yikes, I’m sorry to see so many negative experiences with this location though I’m also not a regular. Has been at least a year since I’ve even been to a Cold Stone.
I didn’t have a chance to stay to eat, which is why I’m keeping this review open at a 4.
The staff was friendly & conversational. They asked if I wanted a waffle cone.

I placed an online order for a cake with writing. I was surprised that it was ready a couple hours prior to the pick up time, after reading some reviews. I picked up the cake not verifying that the writing was correct because I was rushing. I was extremely embarrassed when we took the cake out of the bag to sing happy birthday. First of all, this cake looks like it’s been sitting in the freezer and the strawberries were freezer burned, and let me just say the writing was super horrible. I love cold stone cakes but they need to do better with training employees on their writing skills. Nowadays customers trust that when they place birthday cake orders that the writing would be nice especially because they want to post pictures.

Today is the day after Christmas. My family and I showed up at Cold Stone right at opening time. My 8 year old had a “kids ice cream day” coupon from a coupon book he had received in his stocking. When we were about to walk in the door, an employee (or possible manager) met us outside. He compassionately explained that they were having some construction delays in their dining room due to a small emergency they had experienced recently. He told us he was very sorry, and offered us some free waffle cone coupons for when they reopened in a few days. He was very genuine, but at this point it was still a very corporate type response. After speaking with him for a few more minutes, he went significantly out of his way, very unexpectedly, to make this unfortunate event into a wonderful experience for our kid. I won’t say exactly what he chose to do because I don’t want others to except this exact kindness from him and take advantage of the situation. However, my husband and I are so appreciative of his effort. We will be back soon for more ice cream and to high five Dom, the greatest ice cream man ever!

Every single time (about 5 times now) we’ve placed an online order it’s not ready when we get there. As in, the ticket is still on the machine and no one’s even bothered to look. The store has been completely empty sometimes! Other times the store was busy, so I’ll give them that, but then we had to wait in the long line to remind them to make the order (defeats the purpose of an online order.) The ticket machine that prints orders is hidden in the corner and no one bothers to check it consistently.
Then, we ordered an ice cream cake over the phone a few days in advanced, was told it would be ready by noon that Saturday, and the cake was still being worked on when my husband showed up at 1. The cake is absolutely horrible. It was supposed to say “happy birthday Alissa” and came out “happy b-day” and the writing is so bad. They said “sorry we’re not cake decorators.” It’s for my 30th birthday party. Extremely disappointed.

Came in today to get the lucky charm ice cream. Image on the left is what is on the add. Image on the right is what we got. No marshmallows, no topping of any kind. I would have asked for them to fix it but the already present attitude of one of the girls behind the counter made me say never mind because i didnt want to deal with the attitude of asking her to fix it. I just added my own marshmallows to it when I got home. Definitely won’t be coming back to this location.

The ladies making the ice cream were fun and efficient. They easily made ice cream while chatting about local events. The ice cream itself was fresh tasting and delicious. It’s in a terrible location but totally worth the drive. They now have delivery, so that’s definitely a great choice

Came in last night (7/24/22). Hot Sunday evening so TONS of customers, staff was overwhelmed but doing a great job! Kind of a bummer they were out of a ton of flavors including the one I came in for. They were out of oreo, graham crackers, and banana. So we had to adjust our 6 orders quite a bit but of course I understand it wasn’t the fault of the staff so no biggie. I really appreciate the hard work and positive attitudes most of the staff gave. The reason I’m only giving 4 stars is the confrontational attitude of one particular employee. He was a tall gentleman, the only one wearing a mask and his name tag said Mat. I watched him give the group in front of me quite a bit of attitude when they asked how to redeem their points from the cold stone app (the customers were super understanding by the way and just said no biggie and skipped it)… Then while I was waiting to have my orders finished I took a picture (included in this review) of the half empty ice cream display to show my BF. Then kept my phone I’m my hand and just kind of leaned against the counter. He IMMEDIATELY got confrontational and repeatedly asked me not to record him. I flipped my phone around to show him I was NOT recording anything, told him so.and told him he needed to change his attitude. He just said sorry and continued on doing whatever he was doing… I was REALLY put off by this. Had we not received 2 of our ice creams already I would have walked out. Another 10-15 min passed before it was our turn to check out. And I’m having to wait because this same employee is now arguing with a customer (not sure what about)… This customer was not as polite as the last. I think this employee could use some training. He is just waiting to confront a customer and put them in their place. He’s seriously lacking customer service skills.

Cold stone creamery has the best ice cream ever! I was out with some friends of mine and it happened to be my birthday so they took me by cold stone creamery for my birthday dessert! It was absolutely amazing! I really love this ice cream.
