I ordered Cold Stone from the El Dorado Hills store using Door Dash tonight. This is the second time I paid to add M&Ms and they didn’t add them. I ordered the Peanut butter cup perfection and it’s basically just chocolate ice cream. So disappointed.

I love coldstone! The waffle cones are some of the yummiest I’ve ever tried! The ice cream cookies are divine and don’t get me started on their ice cream cakes! Of course the ice cream is delish and they offer a variety of different flavors all the time along with a huge variety of different toppings! Prices are fair and some of the employees are very nice! Others not so much. It’s a tad small inside so it’s definitely frustrating during busy times when it almost feels like you’re bumping elbows with other guest! Other then the lack of space and a few not so kind employees it’s a great ice cream spot! Nice location surrounded by other food and retail shops!

I had a very disappointing experience here. I asked “the manager” for two flavors, but he completely forgot the second one. When I pointed it out, instead of fixing it properly, he just threw a tiny spoonful of the second flavor on top of my large cup. I mentioned that it barely had any of the second flavor, and his response was, “If you’re going to complain, don’t come back.”
When I went to pay, I mentioned the issue to the cashier ,she simply shrugged and said, “He’s the manager, and he’s a mess.” No apology, no effort to make it right.
I walked out with a messy, poorly made ice cream and ended up tossing it in the trash. Sadly, the behavior of the staff explained exactly why they’re stuck working for tips on a beautiful Saturday night. Definitely not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values basic respect and customer service.

you can’t go wrong with an ice cream place that has a huge selection of flavors to choose from and you can add as little or as much toppings, and different toppings for that, as you want. They mix it all up and it’s super good!
I ordered the house recipe for the ‘chocolate Indulgence’. I’m glad I got the kids size as it is pretty decadent. 🙂
You can even get a cookie with ice cream and whipped cream as well.

I ordered an ice cream sandwich, but the staff clearly didn’t know how to make it. One employee had to ask another, who just told her to put a cookie on top and bottom. I asked to warm the cookie, but was told the microwave was broken. They ended up giving me a scoop of ice cream between two rock-hard cookies. Terrible experience.

I literally just came from another boba place. I walk in to get some ice cream for another person and to my surprise, Cold Stone is now selling a few blended boba smoothies. I think sure let’s get one, and I am actually enjoying this one more than the one I got from the store specifically selling boba (it was cheaper here too!)
That being said the service was bad and the tables were sticky. I get that they’re selling ice cream to children but it takes what 10 seconds to wipe a table after a customer comes through? Stars for the boba.
