One of the worst calls to receive is right before a party when the hostess calls and says the cake looked like a 4th grader decorated it!! The one on the left is what I wanted plus some strawberries on top. The one on the right is what I received!! Yes, you saw that right. I’m not really sure that the decorator has ever seen a strawberry in real life because they come with green stems not red squiggles. You would also have hoped that they would have piped the cake edges…nope. The crazy thing is, this cake was $70 with tax and tip. Again, your eyes don’t deceive you. Also the cake tasted fine but they omitted the extra strawberry mix-in which we also ordered. I did the read the reviews and was hoping that the odds would be in my favor. Unfortunately, I fell in love with the idea of an ice cream cake and needed it out of Park City. I tried calling the store last night to have them make it right, but no one answered the phone after two attempts. Management, you might want to do some training in your store or just close up shop. More reviews like this and it will be sooner than later. So sad.
Update: I actually emailed customer service but have received no response or refund. 🙁

I didn’t like it at all. The ice cream tastes very industrial, like the kind you can buy at a supermarket. Maybe it’s because I’m from Argentina, where ice cream is usually very artisanal and made with high quality ingredients, similar to gelato. On top of that, the wait time was quite long, around 30 minutes.

So, I had just finished reading a handful of 1 and 2 star reviews before walking through the Cold Stone Creamery doors. There was one person who entered just before us and another customer followed us a minute later. Many of the complaints on Google were about cleanliness and service, so I was hyper aware when I observed 2 of the 3 employees walk into the back as we entered. One of the two returned a minute later, but it was a while longer before the third came out to help.
All the employees were helpful and did get us in and out quite quickly, even when the register went on the fritz. Although, it was “funny” when the young women reset the register and then without saying anything walked into the back room with the other two employees (both boys) and just kind of looked awkwardly at us through the window.
The other observation that hit me was that all 3 of the available tables (some were pushed out of the way in the corner of the store) were dirty. This was disappointing because they did not seem very busy just before we entered.
Finish with the positive; despite being soft, the ice cream was very good.

This Coldstone location was a true gift to the community today. The young woman who was working while my group was there around 12:00pm to 2:00pm provided amazingly friendly, generous, and thoughtful service. Please patronize this business when you can!

Ah, the 4th of July. Fireworks, freedom, and apparently… frozen regret. We stopped by Cold Stone to treat ourselves to a patriotic scoop of happiness, but what we got instead was a sticky scoop of sadness with a side of chaos.
First of all, we waited in line longer than the American Revolution lasted. When we finally did, we were greeted by a teenager who looked like they were one sprinkle away from a mental breakdown. (Honestly, I don’t blame them.)
We ordered what we thought was a simple concoction of chocolate ice cream with cookie dough. What we got was a lukewarm soup of questionable consistency that looked like it lost the will to live somewhere between the waffle cone station and the toppings bar. It was like our ice cream had watched the fireworks too early and gave up. When we asked the teenager why the ice cream looked like soup he casually mentioned someone had left it out to melt.
In conclusion, if you want overpriced, under-frozen ice cream served with a hint of existential dread, Cold Stone’s in Park City got you covered. But next year, I’m celebrating with a popsicle and peace of mind.
God bless America… and Godspeed to whoever orders from this location.

Their ice cream cake is really good, but their cake writing skills have some room for improvement. Lol (this is exactly how the cake was picked up)

I just had the WORST experience at this Cold Stone Creamery. I ordered a milkshake and what I got was basically just chocolate milk. On top of that, the staff was incredibly rude—no one was smiling, nobody seemed like they cared at all. To make it worse, I watched as they didn’t even bother to wash their hands while handling things, which is absolutely disgusting. Between the terrible service, unhygienic practices, and the complete lack of professionalism, I will never be coming back here. Not to mention the incredibly slow service.

2 employees working, one leaning on the counter on phone. while the second one was talking to a friend they had over. Did not get greeted. Got 4 like it sizes not a complete servings on any cup. 4 hours before closing, 3 empty slots of ice cream. Female refused to help us.

We have been going to Coldstone’s for 2 decades and, this is the only location that I’ve seen this filthy and disorganized. There were 4 kids working and no leadership. Where is management? These kids were overwhelmed and without guidance. I don’t believe they are properly trained.
I’m grateful this location is not near our home, making it easy to not return.

Thought we’d treat ourselves to some nice ice cream for a fun night out and we ended up leaving pretty disappointed.
The three teenagers working were pretty uninterested in helping us and the online orders took precedence.
I asked for a love it of the Peanut Butter Cup Perfection and the one kid (I believe he was new to the job) doing our orders put almost nothing in it. He kept trying to read the sign on the wall because he didn’t know what went in it. Then he ran out of hot fudge and wouldn’t go to the back to get more. He just stood there squeezing an empty bottle and then moved on with an empty Peanut butter jar.
Here’s what my ice cream came out like.
Barely mixed, nothing in it, and hard as a rock. I had to let it sit so I could eat it. Paid for a signature and got plain chocolate ice cream. I ended up finding the one Peanut butter cup he added in the bottom of my ice cream, whole.
Pretty disappointing. I appreciate the kid that helped us when it was busy!! But he honestly should have had someone else paying attention and giving him instruction. The other 2 associates couldn’t be bothered to even look at those in line.
