Nice service, sometimes a long line that means long wait to order but overall decent. Small interior but they have 2 tables outside for seating as well. Had their strawberry shake & liked it & their regular cookies&cream ice cream, both were good as expected.

I tried the silk chocolate almond milk ice cream and it was super yummy! I haven’t found many ice cream places that offer non dairy products & that taste good and when I saw cold stone did I had to try it! Amanda helped me out and offered me a sample of the silk ice cream and I just had to purchase a cup. She was extremely friendly and helpful , overall it was a great an experience and Amanda’s service was amazing! 😀

I love Cold Stone Creamery ice cream, but my visit here was very disappointing. I know that most of the ice cream is gluten-free, but there are some that are not. I was interested in one flavor and asked the young woman behind the counter about it. She told me that there is gluten in every ice cream. I told her that there were some that didn’t have gluten and to please look up the one I was interested in. She just gave me a dirty look, huffed and went to another area to do things that didn’t involve helping me. A young man offered to look it up, but at that point, I just ordered an ice cream that I was sure of. That young woman should be retrained, especially in customer service. If this had been my first visit to a Cold Stone Creamery store, it would have been my last.

Just the type of place I’ve been looking for, I’ve been looking for something other than the usual raspa stand. Here there are also smoothies, shakes, and ice cream cakes. You can create your own mixes by adding your choice of toppings. The business was very clean and fresh. The RR’s were very clean as well..The service was there I mean obviously I got what I asked for but it definitely could have been BETTER..No smile, no greeting, no convo, no recommendations..I asked for butterpecan ice cream but I didn’t know I had to add or ask for the actual pecans to be added…so once I was served the ice cream alone and realized it my only option was just to add some on the top…but that is something that I would have considered telling the customer if I was employed there, no big deal at all though.

This place is amazing and make the driver from Edinburg to weslaco because I liked it more than the McAllen location.
Recently I had an employee get somewhat upset over a slight misunderstand. Not verbally but just no communication any more. No need to get bothered if you put the wrong topping

I went into Cold Stone today and was helped by a very nice gentleman. The service was friendly, the conversation was great, and the ice cream was amazing as always. I’ve always enjoyed Cold Stone, but today was especially good!

I understand that when there are many people in the store, the workers try to work as fast as they can. But this doesn’t excuse bad labor. The Ice cream we were served was not mixed well. The brownies were not chopped up. The berries on the other did not look fresh. And the worst of all, the waffle bowl was stale and soft. You could not even bite into it. It was hard to break off as well.

I visited Cold Stone today 9/01 and had an experience that left me very disappointed. While placing multiple orders, I asked the young lady assisting me to place my first order in the freezer so it wouldn’t melt while I helped my 7-year-old decide what she wanted. She refused, saying it was “for sanitary reasons,” even though she had just made the treat herself and was the only one who had handled it.
When I asked, “How do you keep your online orders cold?” she responded that they “just leave them on the counter.” I knew this wasn’t true, and the inconsistency made me feel singled out. Unfortunately, I was left with the impression that I was treated differently because I am Black.
African American families live here in Weslaco and deserve to feel welcome and respected when patronizing local businesses. We are not outsiders. It’s disheartening when something as simple as ordering a treat turns into a reminder that not all customers are treated equally.
