This place was not how it used to be 7 years ago, I recently went and was a little worried due to the recent reviews but I’ve been craving it so I decided to go. The lady was helpful and nice and the size of the ice scream was enough but the flavor was cheap and just not good like before.

Grainy texture to the ice cream? I’m not sure what was happening. Maybe the ice cream is old, re-used, or not being kept at the right temperature, but it had a very odd texture. Something is off.

Ordered a custom cake on Sunday to be picked up Wednesday at noon, was not ready. I was offered another cake that was not made the same way as a replacement. I asked can they have it ready by Thursday at noon and they said ok. (This is not the first time this has happened)
Went Thursday and the cake was ready, no sorry, discount anything for me having to drive back out and pick it up. They did say they would talk to the manger so I was thankful for that.
I did not inspect the cake because I didn’t think anything would be wrong with it….
I pulled the cake out of freezer to get it ready and noticed the side was a little off and there was no frosting around the bottom.
After cutting it I noticed the cake on the bottom was broken and missing pieces.
Called to talk to a manager and got someone that said “the manager is not in but I’m like the manager here now” … I tried to explain what was wrong and wouldn’t even let me talk..

Update: NO ONE called me back. I also contacted corporate, no one has responded. Called store for the 2nd time, went voicemail, again.
I ordered a custom cake and for $50 it looked unprofessional. I took it to my car and thought it looked very sloppy but I didn’t want to complain I thought maybe I was being unreasonable. The more I drove (15 minute commute)the cake continued to melt, decorations were falling off. I am unsure if it is safe to eat.
I am disappointed I did not go in when I initially thought something was wrong. I should have trusted my gut instinct since I have purchased many many ice cream cakes over the years.I tried to call the store and I contacted Cold Stone the company. I will update review when or if the store contacts me.

This has been by far the WORST experience at this location! We used to come here when we lived out. It was a great location and our kids loved it. Last time we came was 5 yrs ago until today 11/17/2024. The first thing we noticed as we were walking inside was the nasty strong smell of moldy/sitting water. It was nasty. Once inside it hit us how hot it was inside! I mean we quickly got hot! It was uncomfortable. We ordered our signature ice cream and another thing we noticed was that our ice cream was already melting as they ladies were handing us our cups. Even the platform in which they have to mix the ice cream isn’t keeping its temperature due to how HOT it is inside! By the time we sat down, I can honestly say we was drinking milk not eating ice cream! It was melting all over our table! This was horrible and will never be returning. I don’t recommend this place anymore.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I ordered three ice creams today through DoorDash, and only ONE was correct. Another was technically the right flavor, but they put a medium in a large cup—seriously? That’s flat-out dishonest. And the third? Missing a $4 waffle cone AND $4 worth of mix-ins. Eight dollars just gone.
I had to call DoorDash support because I was fuming. Cold Stone used to be a place I loved—a place full of good memories. I wanted to share that with my kids today. Instead, we were served nothing but disappointment.
Cold Stone has completely gone downhill. The lack of care, the dishonesty, and the quality control (or lack thereof) make it clear they just don’t care about customers anymore. Do better—or don’t bother at all.

They didn’t tell us their AC was out when we walked in. I noticed the ice cream was a little melted, but I thought it must still be good if they’re still serving it. By the time we paid for it and sat down, it was ALL the way melted. They served us melted ice cream. It was gross, and I asked for my money back. They laughed and said they couldn’t because we threw it away. I went to the trash, got it out, and gave it to them, and they said they can’t tell if we ate it or not. I asked for all of their names and the number to corporate. They gave me Princes, Tiana, and Olivia. They wouldn’t give me the number to corporate but gave me their boss Dave’s number. I tried calling, and it just went to a voicemail. They said I accepted the melted ice cream, and therefore, they are under no obligation to give me my money back. I believe if they had remembered the prince’s name in the Princess Tiana movie, they would have given me his name instead of Dave. If you go here do not be nice and accommodating like me. Do not accept the ice cream if it’s not to your liking because you won’t be getting your money back. Looking at other reviews it seems like serving meted ice cream is a constant here. I will be contacting the state attorney general, call for action, consumer action, the BBB, and the FTC.

I’m sure folks that can afford this ice cream love it. I’ve been twice, now, in 30 years and will not be returning a 3rd time. I didn’t know the ordering process nor was it laid out for anyone. The staff didn’t think to ask “who’s next?” so we were passed over for a group of five other folks. Interesting flavor combinations and descriptions, yes. Nearly impossible to figure out pricing, how to order, what is available etc. The ice cream is rich and creamy but at a huge price offset. Nope. Not for me, personally. The folks who make creations, just as creamier, satisfy my taste pallet much, much better and at a reasonable price. Imho.

Ice cream was delicious. Staff knows how to put flavors together. Three stars ⭐️ is due to the lack of people skills in a customer service position. Staff needs to be more friendly and approachable. Although they know how to service ice cream, I suggest they learn how to interact and relate to the customers more and not worry about getting them out so much.
