I can confidently declare that this is the best ice cream in Duluth! The wonderful mixtures were an absolute delight! Not only that, but you have the freedom to come up with your own blend! Thousands of scrumptious options are at your disposal!

2 workers, three people ahead of us and then there are three of us in line. Only one of us ended up getting ice cream and we stood there and waited while one chick was on a clipboard behind the counter forever, not even acknowledging customers. There were people behind us that left, We should’ve as well. Absolutely ridiculously overpriced. I understand the ice cream has to be soft to serve it but, it was falling off their paddle. After I seen how soft it was, I told the lady I didn’t want it and she got quite pissy. I’m happy I canceled my order after seeing my daughter’s small ice cream for $9.20. I’m not leaving a tip for that. She had one add-in which the board says is free, ITS NOT! Won’t be here again, I’ll go back to the Rocky Mountain chocolate factory on our way out and grab another apple.

We had a great stop in getting ice cream for the family on our stroll through Duluth. The employee (a young man) did a great job serving us! We would definitely recommend to others to pop in for a treat if in the area!

I’m a long time customer of Cold Stone Creamery and really enjoy their ice cream. This post is not about the ice cream but in regards to the poor customer service of the staff at this location the day I visited. After waiting in line for 20 minutes I asked if I could order a shake. The staff member I was speaking with said “Our shake blenders are dirty so I can’t make you a shake. I would have to clean a blender but that will take time and there is a line of people behind you”. That statement to me was very confusing because I assume their blenders get “dirty” after each time they use one for an order. To me this comment came off as “If you’re not going to order ice cream then I can’t help you with any other options on our menu.” I’ve worked in restaurants before so I can appreciate having to deal with a line of customers. However, turning down a customers order from your restaurant’s menu because you don’t want to fill a food order that may take a little more time than a simpler order is not customer service. Making me feel like I’m inconveniencing the staff by ordering a shake on the menu is ridiculous. Please educate your staff on customer service.

Ice cream was good as usual but this location was very unclean. Worker was just unlocking the door when we walked up a little after 12. She was the only one working and was pleasant. Every table was dirty as were the floor and rugs. Only 3 tables had chairs around them and the rest were still stacked. When I went into the bathroom there was no toilet paper. The toilet did not flush but fortunately we were the first ones using it for the day. Sink only dripped water out. The worker commented that the closers the night before were apparently slacking, I agreed. The whole place was a mess and people kept coming in the whole time we were there.
