I ordered a cake ahead of time at the St. Anthony, Minnesota, Creamery. When I arrived to pick it up, I noticed that there was only one person in attendance with several people waiting ahead of me. This is not about waiting. This is about watching this one man handle all these customers and their specific orders with grace and professionalism, with care and concern. When it was my turn, I told him how I had enjoyed watching him work and asked, was he working alone. He mentioned that although there was a prospect of another person in the offing, yes, he was working alone. When I asked could I please refer praise to his supervisor, he asked that I write a Google review, and thus I am doing so. In an age where we are losing manners and turning even waiting on persons over to AI, we need people with humanity and concern for others in our midst. Thank you for a good experience, and the cake was wonderful.

A good Cold Stone location. It was a hot and humid day, and the line was swelling near the door. It was worth the wait. The employees were nice and patient. I applaud them since it was super busy. The employee took our order, had it made in front of us and we paid. Ice cream was okay. The cake shake was okay. The quality of the ice cream was okay. It is ice cream so it is full of sugar but the lack of taste from certain flavors was just not there. Unfortunately, the ice was just okay but the service was excellent. It is a bit tight inside and tables are limited. Parking outside is very limited. If the parking spaces are full, you’ll have to find parking elsewhere and walk here. Overall, excellent service but quality of the ice cream is subpar.

Avoid this store! It should be 0. Attached are pics showing how they don’t bother to fill the container. This has happened SEVERAL times. The manager “Mohan” keeps saying “I’ll get them trained” or “I’ll retrain them and remind them” – yet – same thing happens over and over. Clearly he’s either unable to train them or unwilling. They are ripping people off! Stay away from this location and don’t order via door dash with their store! (these are just a couple examples. I have several more)

Nice place in St. Anthony shopping center. There are a lot of choices and the ice cream tastes great…. which is perfect for those muggy Minnesota summers.
I got the cookie dough ice cream in a waffle cone. I liked it, it tasted nice.
There are a few tables inside to sit down, or, near this location, there are several parks you could drive to and still have time to enjoy your ice cream before it melts.

From the beginning of this experience it was very terrible. When we first walked in there was no greeting, no smile not even a acknowledgment. Then when I was waiting in line both workers were working on online orders forcing us to wait in a line that wasn’t even there, nobody was before me and I still waited to be helped. Then once I started ordering what I wanted for the mix ins the lady kept asking “is that it” after every mix in I asked for, they weren’t even patient. When it came to paying she charged me almost $10 for four mix ins instead of charging me as a signature and adding a mix in that way; and my ice cream wasn’t even full all the way. Then my friend ordered a smoothie and they didn’t even blend the ice. There was large chunks of ice left over in her cup and they weren’t even stocked up with their covers so they gave her smoothie without a lid. We finally paid and then left. Eating my ice cream I found a piece of hair, that was white. I’m a brunette. It was utterly disgusting. I use to love coming to this location but I do not recommend it here. Customer service was terrible and the ice cream was too.

Best not to do order ahead here. I ordered a bowl with brownie, Oreo, and peanutbutter sauce and only got the peanutbutter sauce.

If I could give 0 stars I would, it seems as though all of the employees have terrible attitudes or are just severely undertrained and just don’t care, it took 5+ minutes in an empty store for them to take our orders, didn’t know how to make them ( and subsequently made two out of the three things ordered wrong) and then ignored us at the register for another 5+ minutes. I got a pint to take home that they filled only 3/4 of the way and when I got home and opened it the ice cream was made wrong and unmixed. I am extremely underwhelmed and disappointed. I wish I could get a refund 🙁

Quite possibly the worst experience we’ve had at a Cold Stone. The staff needs more training and better leadership. None of our orders were correct. We even ordered one of the signature dishes, but it was also made incorrectly. The picture shows how much cookie dough we had after our order.

First time eating cold stone here. The server did not listen to anything I said, rolled her eyes when corrected and expected a tip. First I said waffle cone, second I said apple pie , as in mixed in not lazily thrown in. Tried to give me a bowl of ice cream, I corrected her and said a waffle cone, in the end you gave me a waffle bowl and rolled your eyes as of to say you get what u get. The apple pie topping was literally scooped in there are barely mixed in. I am not tipping for poor customer service. Never going back.
