Ordered an ice cream cake for a birthday. It was amazing! Couldn’t believe the detail that was put into it considering how big it was and what we added to it. Oddly enough a picture of the cake wasn’t taken. It was enjoyed though!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The two high-school ladies behind the counter were nasty to us, we weren’t met with a friendly welcome, nor a friendly face, these girls looked at us like we were roaches in New York. We left without getting anything because of the disrespect from this establishment. Customer service was very unprofessional.

Came here last Sunday (10/2) and was shocked at the service my friend and I had received. There were 3 young workers, no older than 16 with no manager in sight. It took one employee nearly 25 minutes to make our orders. The other two employees (one male and one female) that were there upon us walking in disappeared & came back 15 minutes later saying something along the lines of, “oh people are here”, after they were peeking around the corner. The people behind us were then cared for by the male employee (1 out of 2) who had to constantly repeat their order to him. Eventually, the other employee (female) checked us out and the original employee who had helped us out disappeared to the back. My friend’s malt milkshake was basically water and my cheesecake ice cream was soup. Maybe we’ll try another location.

This is what I received from the Otsego, Minnesota Cold stone Creamery. I had the absolute worst service from employees that clearly didn’t care about my experience. They were rude and snarky when I asked for lids since I had to drive four ice creams home. They were making rude comments back and forth to each other about how they disliked each other. They gave me rude looks for asking for a bag to put my four ice creams in. They handed me this ice cream with the lid not even on. I had even asked if the lid was on and they said “no, it won’t fit” and walked away. They then argued with each other about how the one employee filled it up too much instead of helping THE PAYING CUSTOMER with resolving the issue. The employees were asking me how they should ring up MY BIRTHDAY ICE CREAM. Isn’t that their job to know? I chose to spend my time to get my birthday treat at this Cold stone. Now I’m not going back to this awful Cold stone until actions are taken to prevent situations like this from happening again.

Three strikes and you’re out. Horrible service tonight. Placed an online order, waited until time given for pickup and went to the store. It was packed but it appeared the order had already been picked up since the ticket was no longer at the printer. Went to checkout to inquire. Took over 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me and when i asked, she tracked down the slip and said they hadn’t had time to make it and told me to go to the END of the line. What?? I can see if I had just placed the order and thought to skip ahead, but i had already been in “line” for 30 minutes by this point. She returned my order and I left. For how long it took to process the return, which is completely sketchy and looks like I lost the reward I had, she could have made the order. This was the final straw after two previous errors on visits. We will go to other locations where we never have these problems.

We’ve been coming this location every year for about 10 years on our last day of school. Today I came in with my five kids and was welcomed with so much distain! Staff is unwelcoming and ungrateful for the business families bring to this location. They made it clear we were inconveniencing them. Sadly, the not-so-lovely young lady missed out on a tip due to her attitude. Perhaps we’ll bring our business elsewhere in the future.

We went from it never being open under old owners to now at least it’s open during normal business hours which is nice. But went in and was told by the blonde “manager” that is the same amount of candy for each size and that she knows, and to not question her about it when i asked. Cause every time i have gotten a love it for the last 20 years 2 pieces are always included and a like it gets 1. So i got 1 piece today and it was annoying but i just smiled and accepted not going to make a stink after being shut down by her when i ask about the amount. So maybe under new owners they are being more stingy, or it’s just her. Not sure. Karen out hahahaha.

Absolutely love the way they take care of their customers. I’ve ordered personalized cakes from Otsego Coldstone twice this year (we do walk in during the summer often though) and each time they’ve out done themselves. For the sake of my family I “caked” their name and faces but the photos and colors printed on the ice cream cake turned out beautifully! Cake was frozen upon pick up and perfect! Both were oreo ice cream flavored! It was super heavy! Guests were in awe and didn’t want to eat it because it was so beautifully colored and made.
