I dropped my 17-year-old daughter and her friend off at Cold Stone while I ran to Jewel to pick up a few items. While there, she placed an online pickup order since the store was not accepting Apple Pay. As she was waiting for her order, the manager, Mike, approached them and asked, “Why are you guys here?” She politely responded that she was waiting for her order.
She said he continued to be unfriendly while handing her the order. About 25 minutes later, when I returned to pick them up, my daughter was extremely upset about how she had been treated. I went inside to calmly let the manager know how disappointed she was with the service she received.
Mike then told me he needed to check his cameras because they were standing near the cake refrigerator “snickering.” I was very offended that he would imply they may have stolen something without actually seeing them do anything. He proceeded to tell me that my daughter was banned from the store.
I have been to this location many times and have never experienced treatment like this, although I had never seen Mike there before. I am very disappointed that a grown man would treat a minor this way. As a mother, it saddens me to know that my daughter was made to feel uncomfortable and unfairly accused while simply waiting for her order.

I took my 6- and 3-year-old kids to Cold Stone Creamery for the first time, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. When I asked if my kids could taste-test a flavor before choosing, I was told they don’t do taste tests for non-seasonal ice cream.
Honestly, what kind of ice cream shop—especially one charging premium prices—won’t let a child try a tiny sample before committing? It makes zero sense and immediately soured the visit.
Between the unfriendly policy and the lack of basic customer service, we won’t be going back. Zero stars from us.

Refused our service 3 minutes till close. It was our first night out since having our baby. We walked in so happy to have make it in time. They told us the time with the indication of dismissing us and were plain rude. We walked out feeling awkward and unwelcome. Never coming back for the way they made us feel.

Terrible customer service, all 3 girls had such bad attitudes. Was charged $3.99 as a kids cup for literally 2 bites of ice cream as you can see in the photos, you would think even tho it’s a kids cup there would still be more than a small bite of ice cream for $3.99. Horrible experience and waste of $

Absolutely terrible customer service, not to mention half of the employees walking around not actually doing anything. We ended up leaving after our ice cream sat on the back counter melting while we stood in line at the register to pay and kept getting skipped over

Went to Dyer location the day before Easter. The lady behind the counter offered the quart size of pre made Cake Batter Batter ice cream in the freezer instead of paying for 2 Gotta Have It’s so we did that. Paid almost $15. Got home and realized there were no mix ins. Just plain ice cream. I called right away and they asked me to bring it back but we live in north Highland, almost 25 minutes away. So she said she would have her manager call me on Monday after the Easter holiday. The manager called Monday and asked for photos of the ice cream which I provided but since it was close to the bottom of the container (as we had continued eating it) and made at the factory and not her store, she would not refund or replace. We have been loyal customers of Cold Stone but won’t be going back. Unbelievable!

the 3 individuals that were working at around 8:50 on 8/15/25 should be fired! thank you for rushing my toddlers to eat their ice cream and for having a bad attitude for no reason. i hope your manager sees this and give you whatever disciplinary action you deserve!! worst customer service ever they even denied law enforcement ice cream at that time. should be ashamed of yourselves

Multiple hairs in my ice cream … I saw one and took it out. Yes I continued eating it …. a few scoops later this long strand and that was enough to disgust me.
