Hey there, fellow ice cream lovers! I’m here to tell you about my experience at Cold Stone Creamery on Woodruff Road, where I took my family for a sweet treat last weekend. Let me tell you, it was a blast!
First of all, the staff was super friendly and helpful. They greeted us with a smile and offered us samples of their delicious flavors. They also explained how their signature creations work: you choose your ice cream base, then add any mix-ins you want, and they blend it all together on a frozen stone. Sounds cool, right?
Well, it gets cooler. You can also create your own custom creation, or choose from their ready-made options. They have something for everyone: classic, adventurous, fruity, nutty, chocolaty, you name it. They even have some seasonal specials, like pumpkin pie and peppermint bark. Yum!
My wife went for the cake batter ice cream with brownies and fudge. My son picked the chocolate ice cream with Oreos and M&M’s. My daughter chose the strawberry ice cream with gummy bears and sprinkles. And I, being the dad joke master that I am, ordered the vanilla ice cream with bacon and maple syrup. Hey, don’t knock it till you try it!
We watched in awe as they prepared our creations, chopping, mixing, and scooping with skill and flair. They even sang a little song when we tipped them. How fun is that?
We took our ice cream to a table and dug in. Wow, was it good! The ice cream was rich and creamy, the mix-ins were fresh and tasty, and the portions were generous. We all enjoyed our choices, even mine. Trust me, bacon and ice cream go together like peanut butter and jelly. Don’t believe me? Ask my wife, she stole a bite!
We had a great time at Cold Stone Creamery, and we’ll definitely be back. It’s a perfect place to go with your family, friends, or even by yourself. I placed an order on their website. They called and said they “aren’t doing banana ice cream anymore”. I said ok no problem, then I’d like to cancel those and just get the other one (different flavor) that I had ordered. She said she can’t do that and that I need to cancel and order it again. There are charges when canceling an order that has already been sent to the store. I said “that doesn’t make any sense since you are the ones who are out of it??”. She immediately got an attitude, raised her voice, and said “well if you’re gonna be rude then…” and I hung up the call. Someone needs to teach this girl some customer service skills. When YOU as a business are out of something, maybe try being apologetic to the customer given that it’s YOUR fault that you don’t have something that YOUR OWN APP says you have. I usually order from Cold Stone a couple times a week and that won’t be happening again.

I went in on a Wednesday afternoon with my daughter and my husband. I believe our server was Leanne. Every time we come in she always so nice, professional, and welcoming. She always greets us, and let’s us know that she’s ready to serve. She does a great job making our selections and makes sure we are aware of our offers and rewards. She’s fantastic!

Went here on a Wednesday evening, they were pretty crowded and stayed busy, it was about a 15 minute wait to get through the line to actually order. There are a lot of items in their to go case to choose from, lots of options as far as ice cream, shakes etc. only saw one non dairy option on the menu so I would love to see more options there in the future, almond milk or oat milk would be some wonderful options to add to the menu

Are you joking??? This tiny little cup of ice cream cost $6? (See my finger in picture for comparison, lol) And it wasn’t that good.
I asked where the rest of it was, and she said they aren’t allowed to fill it past the top of the cup anymore. I counted. 7 bites total.
Worse, she scooped out the size a small used to be, then left 1/3 melting on the board and told me I couldn’t have it. Then she threw it away.
I can get a pint for $6 at the store and I’m not coming here anymore. I looked forward to it all day.

It’s a good place to go to and take the family. Nothing special. The ice cream is reasonably priced. Not too many flavors to choose from. They give plenty toppings. Service was fast and friendly.
