I hadn’t been to a Cold Stone since I was a kid. My partner and I decided to get some ice cream and came to this place around 8pm. The single worker who was staffing the shop was polite and efficient and gave great portion sizes. That’s the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1, since the quality of the ice cream was an entirely different story. It tasted like slightly cold fluff with toppings inside. Mine (Cookie dough ice cream) even came half melted. I do not get ice cream for some fluffy sugar; I want it to be cold, creamy, and to slowly melt in my mouth. This stuff was held together with an almost weirdly artificial fluff feeling. Disappointed in Cold Stone. I will not be coming back. Please go to other ice cream shops.

Cold Stone always delivers consistent service. After dinner, we stopped by to satisfy a sweet tooth. The shop wasn’t too crowded, and we were served promptly after the group ahead of us.

Taste

I decided to try something new and ordered a cone with pumpkin and cinnamon roll flavors. It was my first time having these, and they were absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely order them again.

Ambiance

The shop was clean and inviting, with a steady flow of customers but no overwhelming crowds. It’s a great spot for a casual dessert stop.

The place was small and we were the only ones in store. The lady up front was polite and was wearing mask. Coming to the flavors, we got the Chocolate devotion with two flavors. The chocolate was good, but the coffee flavor was ok. I would not recommend it. And don’t add the chocolate chips, they are not good. But the brownie that was added was great.

We ordered on UberEats from this location. They put a small (like it) in a medium (love it) cup when we ordered a love it. Ubereats said this doesn’t qualify for a refund. Trifling all around.

Disappointing experience. Workers were very rude, lazy and rushed our experience. They also put a small cup in a medium cup and filled it. Cup was dirty was well. They told us we couldn’t mix flavors. We understood. Then because they were rushing and trying to get us out of there, along with other customers, they provided chocolate ice cream in our Reese’s peanut butter awesome sauce instead of sweet cream. Overall customer service was a 0/10. Food quality 4/10. Location atmosphere 2/10.

My recent experience at Cold Stone Creamery left me deeply disappointed and frustrated with the level of service provided. It’s evident that the management’s disregard for their employees and customers has created a toxic work environment that ultimately impacts the quality of service.

One of the most glaring issues is the severe lack of staff, especially during peak hours in the evening. It’s absurd to expect only three extremely young-looking college students to handle a rush of customers that extends out the door. This staffing shortage reflects poorly on the management’s ability to adequately support their team and meet the demands of the business.

The indifference towards customer satisfaction is evident in the disorganized and chaotic atmosphere of the store. Despite placing an online order, it was not ready upon arrival. The sight of only three young employees struggling to keep up with the overwhelming demand explains why orders are delayed and customers are left waiting.

The absence of effective leadership is concerning. It’s unclear where the manager is during these chaotic times, and the lack of adult supervision further exacerbates the problem. Retraining the manager and investing in proper staffing levels should be a priority to improve the overall experience for both employees and customers.

As a long-time customer, it’s disheartening to witness the decline of this once-reliable establishment. I strongly advise against visiting Cold Stone Creamery if you value timely service and a pleasant customer experience. It’s evident that the current management is failing to address the fundamental issues plaguing this location, and until significant improvements are made, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

We’ve been to this location with fine experiences before but today we had a frustrating and very bad experience. There was a problem with the computer system. The customer in front of us tried to buy a cake and the system froze and they left without their cake. The server then completed my order for myself and my kids, however they system was still down and she did not warn me. Once we went to pay, I could not pay with the gift card I intended to use. She was on the phone with her manager trying to solve the issue, but the only option they gave me was to pay cash or zelle directly to the manager. I spoke with the manager, Prebu, as well and he offered me the same. I expressed my frustration at not being told there was an issue before we ordered and at not being able to use the gift card, which was why we had chosen to go there. Fortunately, I had cash because I did not feel comfortable or that it was professional to offer a personal zelle as payment. It was a poorly handled situation and I think the establishment should have taken the loss to keep a customer. Not planning on going back here again.
