Had a shockingly bad customer service experience with Nick. I had purposely brought in my own spoon to help save the environment as well as save the parlor a spoon.
I wanted the residue of MY ice cream. So Nick puts it into another cup. Nice. But then after I had purposely asked for NO SPOON already, he sticks a spoon into this cup. I asked him why he did that.
Then he proceeds to THROW OUT THE ENTIRE CUP AND THE SPOON INTO THE GARBAGE OUT OF SPITE. I cannot to this day understand why he did that.
I said I would leave a review. Well, here it is. Nick said he wouldn’t care if I did leave a review. Ok, so management, do you have anything to say?
I am a regular beach goer at Robert Moses, which is how I know about this ice cream parlor. At this beach, along with beaches all over the world, plastic garbage like the spoon that Nick derived great pleasure in throwing out in front of me out of spite end up on this beach. Thanks Nick for doing your part. NOT!

Small location so the lines are long. With that said though you might wait to order or purchase, the wait wont be too long. It’s very fast pace once it’s your turn though you aren’t rushed. Ice cream is always good and there’s a lively energy. Not much seating for groups bigger than 3. Overall pretty good.

Always pretty packed. Cold stone is pretty expensive so I’m used to ghe prices. Staff is pretty nice and helpful for the most part. Store is super small considering the volume of customers they get at any given time.
I ordered something for my dad and i and said it was to go and they handed me each thing i ordered with a spoon in it so i had to toss it out and ask for a lid multiple times so i could bring it home.

Its ice cream. Its not as good as carvel but its better than friendlys. The price is a bit high for the amount of ice cream they give you. Also they used to sing for tips but i guess they dont sing any more. Nor do they get tips. Enjoy the ice cream while people watching through the windows. Its like an aquarium with humans in it.

I’ve not been in this location in about 10 years, I was nearby so decided to stop by instead of going by my house. I arrived about 930. I stood there for almost 10 four minutes without anyone acknowledging me. There were five employees behind the counter,one was at the register three were making what seemed like to go orders, and one was chatting to the person at the register. The next person was standing, waiting to be cashed out, and the person who was chatting with someone else felt no need to greet me. And that entire time I stood there, not one employee said hi to me, that one employee said I will be with you in a moment. After there was only one person standing at the register, I comment that I’ve been standing here for almost 10 minutes, and no one has greeted me, no one has even said we’ll be with you in the moment. One of the employees looked me in my eyes and looked away, the other young lady mumbled under her breath that I will be with you in a moment. The other three employees said and did nothing. I left! As I can get ice cream from another location.

I had a really good concoction from here recently. cheesecake fantasy in a chocolate dipped with rainbow sprinkle waffle bowl. Oh man was it good. Very delicious. I’m sorry I forgot to take a photo. It looked so good I dove right in. Shame on me and shame on them for offering such a delicious treat.

Customer service sucks. I’ve went in for multiple online orders and I’m always ignored. I go straight to the register and will watch the person in front of me be check out and then the cashier will walk off and just not acknowledge me. I have learned they keep the online orders in the freezer beside the ice cream cakes so I’m just going to start grabbing my order. They need to be taught customer service skills.

i like this place . Close to home. But the only bad thing i can say is all the employees should be wearing hair nets… I came out of there with ice cream but i noticed my ice cream had a LONG peace of hair!! Gross!

I went today and expected it to be packed usually is a very big line so we went on the line a waited . One the employees very young girl yelled telling us to wait outside due to “safety “ yet it is 13 degrees outside. We all told her it is cold and they wanted us to go to our cars we proceed to stay because it will not be fair to be waiting in our cars while other were walking in to go on the line . She then proceeded to yell to go outside, when it is freezing outside. Then a customer told her instead of yelling and worried about us hurry up and take orders. The employee got very nasty and disrespectful and wouldn’t let it go she kept going on and on about the same thing. They really shouldn’t have immature young kids working because they do not have the professionalism to handle crazy shifts. I do give 5 star ratings for the employee who stopped her and let us wait on line instead of making us wait outside & told her she was wrong for making us wait outside in the cold.
