I am so glad this is in Colchester… If you haven’t been, I definitely recommend. I got the Cali Avocado wrap and it was SO good and exactly what I needed. My fiancé ordered a chicken gyro. It looked like it was sculpted to perfection (& I did steal a couple bites so I can confirm that it was). Can’t wait to come back for more!

Everyone is always so kind, and I’ve mostly had their amazing donuts, and egg and cheese sandwiches. Today we got their hummus and I am obsessed!!! Its presentation is beautiful even as take out, but its flavor is my all time favorite! My boyfriend got my extra bread because well thats the perfect thing to scoop this hummus up with. Yeah 15/10

I am so glad I found this place and I am very happy that it is so close to home. However, if it were an hour away, I would still drive to go there absolutely amazing food and the best people. I’m up early every single day and so are they so it works out great for me to get breakfast nice and early the way I like it! Mo is the man. Wicked awesome guy. I grew up in Rhode Island, and I am very partial to Rhode Island restaurants which I think are some of the best in the country. That being said this is my number one place for breakfast anywhere I haven’t been for lunch yet, but I would imagine everything they put out Will be phenomenal because they just care and you can tell.

This place is a relatively undiscovered Colchester gem. The food is always made fresh in an open kitchen that shines from cleanliness. The wraps, omelettes and sandwiches are tasty and very reasonably priced.
The donuts are made daily onsite in small batches. When they are out, they are out; no day old Dunkin’ nonsense going on here. They also have Mediterranean food including hummus and salads. What makes this place great is the staff. Mo is the owner and greets everyone with a smile and a proper hello. Next time you’re in town check out Colchester Donut and Cafe for your breakfast and lunch needs.

Wow, really excellent food! We enjoyed the chicken shawarma with babaganoush and a chicken gyro. Everything was made fresh and so darn good. Can’t wait to go back.

Let me start this review by saying the owner here is the nicest, most welcoming person I have EVER met! The food is amazing. Literally the best hummus I have ever had. The gyro salad was amazing, my kids got the chicken shawarma. All delicious. After we paid, he gave us each a donut to try and I can 100% say it was the best donut I’ve had it my LIFE! I’ll be back some morning for warm donuts! Will definitely return.

A hidden gem that you might pass by until you get a tip from a local about how good the food is. Food was fresh and delicious. Gyros on fresh pita bread we’re fantastic. Baba ghanoush was easily the best I’ve ever had. Baklava – yum! Kitchen was impressively clean. Staff was very friendly and the prices very reasonable. 5 enthusiastic stars.

What a great little place! Rode my bike up from New London to check this place out. The staff was super friendly and they make a simple, plain doughnut they call a crueler. Just the right amount of sweet for a mid-ride stop. Looks to be a local favorite as there were several folks inside enjoying conversations. Totally recommend checking this place out.

Great little family run donut shop. I made the mistake of going on Labor Day at around noon… So most of the donuts selection was wiped out. But what I did get my hands on were absolutely delicious. I bought six donuts and came home with four.

Food was great, owner was super friendly, atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. I got the cheeseburger and my dad got the chicken/beef gyro and both were delicious. The owner also gave us a sample of their hummus which was the best hummus I’ve ever tried. Will definitely be back!
