Owensboro, Kentucky has a champion here. My only regret is that I can not give 10 stars. Lena our server was excellent. She was very attentive to our needs and timed our meal perfectly with the appetizer so they all do not come out simultaneously. She made pefect menu recommendations. When the food came out perfectly timed and exactly as ordered, it was just delicious. I can not recommend any improvements for this great restaurant. Try the mushrooms, the prime rib, or the jambalya they will not disappoint. It is easy to find using Google Maps with plenty of free street parking.

The Salmon BLT was out of this world! The bacon was thick and cooked to perfection.
Loaded potato soup was hearty enough to eat as a meal and the cheese bread added a nice touch.
The fried mushrooms are the best around.
This was the first time we’d ever visited Colby’s and it’s definite worth the drive to Owensboro. Megan is a fantastic server and very helpful.

Such a great spot! We had lunch here and it exceeded our expectations. Our server Katie was awesome and took good care of us. The interior was very nice. The restaurant was very clean and had great natural lighting. Our food was very good. I had the black bean burger and my boyfriend had the smash burgers. Prices were great and good portions also.

Colby’s now cooks with beef tallow – not good for my husband (has alpha gal). However, Colt went above and beyond to ensure he had something to eat. Just fyi – chicken salad & Cole slaw are alpha gal friendly. The service was the very best part of our meal, but the the food was good, too.

Delightful restaurant. Atmosphere was fabulous. Service was excellent. Yummy yummy food the special from 4-6 pm have great choices very responsibly priced. Had a happy hour in bar. If I ever make it back to Owensburg Kentucky definitely visiting this restaurant again.

Our first time eating at Colby’s and it was great!! We did the early dinner(4-6), and you can’t beat it for the quality and quantity of the food. Sandy was our server and she was just as good as the food. She is very attentive to your needs and is there with a refill before you’re half way finished with your drink. We will be back to try the prime rib.

We went on a busy Saturday night but were sat within 30 min. Tableside service was excellent. She was attentive, helpful, and kind. Our food was absolutely delicious. We both ordered a ribeye cooked medium rare. Admittedly, they were both overcooked to medium but they must get really high-quality meat (and it was a ribeye) because we both ate them anyway and they were so tender and juicy. I couldn’t complain. We shared a reasonably priced bottle of wine and a dessert that was the perfect size for sharing. We will definitely be back.

Went here for a christmas lunch with co workers. It was my 1st time eating here. We got there & went in as soon as it opened. Our server was awesome & food was amazing! For $14.49, I got a 6 oz grilled chicken breast & choice of 2 sides. I chose to get sweet potato fries & steamed broccoli. The fries were crispy & delicious. Best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had! The steamed broccoli was good. It could have been steamed a little bit more for my taste though. They gave me literally 2 giant heads of broccoli so there was PLENTY once I got it cut up. Overall, great value for the money, I was impressed! I will be going back & taking my hubby for a date night soon!

My fiance and I had Valentine’s Day reservations at Colby’s. That was our first mistake. The service was a complete joke. We had 2 different servers ask what we’d like to drink and after 20 minutes hadn’t seen either waitress or received even a water. 15 minutes after placing our food order I was informed they were out of what I ordered, so I had to order a different side. The food comes out and I had a $35 steak. It was horrible. My fiance tried it and couldn’t even stomach the steak. I did however enjoy my drink, so I asked for another one just for our waitress to bring me a completely different drink. I informed her it was incorrect and she took my drink, bright it back with a straw now in it, and said the first drink I got was the wrong one, and this one was the right one and that she couldn’t take $8 drink off of our bill. There were a multitude of other small inconveniences they created for us from seating to paying our large bill. Needless to say, they really screwed our Valentine’s Day. I would never recommend this restaurant.
