We got our cake from Colarusso’s Bakery for my mother’s surprise 60th birthday party and it was perfect. We did a half and half full sheet cake and put two photos on top and it came out great. We received so many compliments from our guests and everyone loved the cake. It was also beautifully decorated. We will absolutely get our future cakes from here and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great bakery.

Old school Italian bakery. Such a pleasure to see business like this still thriving. I go 2X a week. Best coffee cake I’ve ever had. Without exaggeration, I like Colarusso’s more than the “Big Three” in the North End. Locals are always at this bakery.

Love coming here for pastry. I ordered cake for my husband’s birthday and got the orders with great customer service. Though the cookies we got weren’t our favorites but the eclairs and strawberry cheese cakes are always awesome here. I want to try the Italian rum cake next time…

Absolutely unbelievable, placed an order for 4 trays of pizza to serve at my son’s first birthday party. They made me pay up front and said I was all set for a 215pm pick up. I get them and they are all ICE COLD. I call and im told they were made this morning all orders are made in the morning when the boss works and packed away for the pick up and that the person answering phone isnt allowed to use the oven. I dont know maybe its just me but maybe that information should be disclosed when placing at order for a certain time that your pizza should be expected to be cold. Now my 40 party guests are eating cold pizza.

AMAZING I dont even like nuts but their nut sticks are to die for. I also got my favorite- Ricotta pie! I haven’t tried it, but it looks amazing along with the carrot cake. I couldn’t believe how cheap it was, I only paid 11$ for all that. I wish I lived close by so I could try more of their stuff! Thank you for the super kind and friendly staff.

Nice bakery with lots of assortments to choose from. It is run by a couple of lovely ladies in the front and a huge bakery kitchen in the back.

I’ve ordered cakes from here before and always had good experiences. But this week, when I tried to place an order for my dad, I was disappointed by the service.. I asked if they could make a cake resembling a Hostess cupcake—essentially a round chocolate cake with a layer of white frosting in the middle, and instead of writing or other decorations, just a simple white squiggly line on top. The woman who answered immediately said, “We don’t do that.” When I clarified the simplicity of the design, she repeated, “We don’t do that,” in a rude tone. The request seemed simple, so I’m not sure if she misunderstood me? It’s just a regular cake with a squiggly line. The interaction left me put off by the customer service and like she didn’t really want to place the order.
