What a Gem! Right there on Water street in St.Johns. I e frequently visited almost every time I’m in this magical city. I’ve never been disappointed the service is always top notch and the food oh my goodness what a treat! The flavors are exceptional the menu has been created using care and attention to every detail. I recently had the Birrila burger. OUT OF THIS WORLD! And the avocado salad is superb. If you haven’t had the pleasure of dining at Cajones you definitely must.

It was such a fun time. The deck was packed so we got a table inside. Service was fantastic. Our server was friendly and cheerful and great. Food was out of this world. I had the Chicken Burrito with Mexican Rice and Refried Beans. Delicious.

We had a fantastic meal here tonight. We were a group of 4. We had a variety of dishes (nachos, fries, honey chipotle tacos, pollo paquitos, churros and drinks). The food was great. Our server was very sweet and accommodating. The food was served fast and it was plated really nicely. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and it had a nice atmosphere. It was a quiet evening but I could see how it would be a great place to hang out for drinks and snacks on a busier night. I wasn’t drinking and I was still able to get a drink with no alcohol that was as nice as it’s full alcohol counter parts.

When I went to this restaurant in June I beheld the cutest waiter ever, he was so kind, and we definitely had a connection. I went back the next night but he wasn’t there and that was my last night in St.John’s. I believe he could be my true love and that I will meet him again. Don’t really remember much about the building but the food was great!

Popped in for a few margaritas during a walk downtown. They were delicious! Also had an order of the Cod Tacos which were absolutely incredible. All of the food that went past us looked amazing, I wanted try everything! Only disappointing part of our visit was the service, it was slow and took a while to get out orders. The patio was busy however inside was fairly empty. I don’t know if it was a staffing issue, regardless will try this spot again!

First impression was good, the decor and atmosphere was great. Alex was our server tonight, he was amazing. Very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. The food was fantastic and margarita pitchers were very delicious. Only thing I would have changed is to improve the street corn a little, they were good but could easily be improved. Overall we really enjoyed our dinner here tonight and commented how we could have stayed and drank Margarita’s all night. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town.

Delicious meals and excellent service!
The moose taquitos and the churros were our favourites. They have Corona on draught which is not something you see in many other places in Canada. The zero-proof margarita was just as good as the real deal!
They have enough space for large parties and definitely recommend making reservations.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this cozy restaurant. The service was perfect and the food was fresh and delicious. The Devore is also on point, definitely a must-visit spot in the town.
