This dinner was a top notch experience! From the moment we sat down, we were taken care of. First, the views of the waterfall while eating outside are just gorgeous! Then, our server was so knowledgeable, sharp and friendly! We had a perfect wine selection with the items we ate. The pasta is handmade and so good and all the farm to table fresh ingredients makes their dishes standout! We ordered the red fife sourdough bread, a pear and prosciutto salad, the house gold yukon gnocchi, the mezzanine rigatoni, the roasted Brussels sprouts, the weiser farm carrots, and an apple tartlet! The atmosphere is elegant, but not stuffy. It was a perfect dinner and evening!

Coin & Candor is such a gem in Westlake. The Four Season’s property is beautiful and this restaurant is a great extension of that. Our server Kendall was so kind and so accommodating – her service alone was enough reason to return. But thankfully the food matched the service. Off menu is the most delicious gluten free bread. Every appetizer, entree and dessert we had was perfectly prepared.

Food is more seasoned than before. The new menu is more French and less California. We liked the old dinner menu from our previous stay in January.
Breakfast is solid but the food came out lukewarm on our last day of our stay.

Let’s just cut to the chase: Coin & Candor is the best restaurant in Westlake Village, bar none.
Chef Hugo and his team have done an exceptional job in creating a seasonal, upscale, yet approachable (and very California) menu that deserves to be revisited again and again. The service is attentive, the cocktail program shows playfulness, and the food shows a team that knows how to execute at the highest level. C&C is truly a gem in Westlake Village, and is on par with the best that LA has to offer; 5 stars well deserved.

We recommended this hotel to a friend visiting from San Francisco and we had brunch at this restaurant. My wife had a $28 fluffy omelette which was not fluffy because it was over cooked and tasteless. I had a $26 egg Benedict which is two poached eggs on 3 pieces of green on 2 halves English muffin. Granted I’ve asked for sauce on the side, the Benedicts had no taste. It’s bad that we were paying Four Seasons prices but the quality was worst than Denny’s. Topping it off, we ordered our food at 11:00 am, the food did not arrive until 11:45. Our waiter tried to remedy the experience by giving us complimentary coffees when we closed the tab but the damage was done.

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant with my family. From the warm welcome to the delightful farewell, my recent dinner was absolutely amazing.
Our server, Amanda, was very attentive and expertly guided us through the menu, offering insightful recommendations.
The talent of Chef Christian was undeniable. Every dish was a work of art, not just in presentation, but in the explosion of flavors on the palate. Chef Christian personally served every dish and explained further the preparation and the variety of ingredients, which was incredible.
A special shout-out to Manager Betty, who ensured our entire experience ran smoothly. Betty stopped by our table to ensure our satisfaction and even took time to chat with us.
The staff’s genuine warmth and attentiveness to detail solidified this place as a top-tier dining destination.
Highly recommended!

We came to the Four Seasons as a group of seven and were seated in a beautiful private space that felt very elegant. At first, it seemed like we were in for top-notch service. Unfortunately, things fell short. Our drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive, and when we asked our meals to be coursed out, everything ended up coming all at once. This made it had to enjoy the appetizers as intended and left us feeling full too quickly. After we finished some dishes, no one came by to clear the table or check in on us for quite a while. The service overall felt inconsistent. We later learned our servers were trainees, which would have been helpful to now upfront. The one standout was Mario, who checked in on us while refilling our waters, and cleared the dishes we put aside on a credenza table. His attentiveness made a big difference in the experience. Management needs to make sure people know they are being served by someone in training.
That said, the food itself was delicious. The bone-in ribeye was cooked to perfection, the oysters were fresh and delicious, the sourdough was soft and warm, and the cocktails were on point (minus the long wait). I want to give this place another chance but I will be requesting a server with experience.

We were there last night. Party of 6. Service was excellent. We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely. From the bread to desserts, everything was well presented and great flavors!
We didn’t sit at the bar, but it looks like a fun place to sit!

I hosted my moms birthday brunch in the private room, Avalon, for 19 ladies this morning. Emily, the catering coordinator, was an immense help setting everything up pre-party. She was extremely responsive and very kind.
I arrived a half hour before the start to set up, and was helped by Martin, a staff member out front, who was also extra kind and helpful in getting everything to the room. The room is beautiful, spacious, even with 19 people + staff! Our servers were wonderful, attentive, kind, and professional.
Highly recommend booking the Avalon room. Overall a wonderful experience which made my mom have an amazing birthday brunch.
