The pizza here is honestly some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Not to mention the people who work here are incredibly nice to me everytime I come in. Thank you to the lady who let me order a pizza even though they were close to closing!

They sale home made soaps, candy, shirts home stuff, gifts, ect. The menu was very small pizza, cheesey bread, wings and sandwiches. The place is well decorated and very clean, they even have a small stage for live music. The food on the other hand did not impress the order was right made fresh and fast but I just didn’t care for the taste. It wasn’t something that I would go back to try again. The small town charm was very nice along with the Christmas lights decorations across the street.

This was my wife and I first time here. We should have tried the pizza, but we went for the subs. I ordered the rubenish sub. I could have spelled that wrong. I wouldn’t get it again. To me it was like a cold cut with sauerkraut. My wife ordered the Italian sub. It was dripping with what appeared to be Italian dressing as seen in pic. My wife didn’t mind the excessive dressing as much as I did. I tried her sandwich and it had a good flavor.

The employees were very helpful. Everything was very clean. We sat at the front window and watched the world go by. This historic building had a cool vibe inside.

I believe it is a veteran owned business and extend a discount to veterans.

I’ve explored all over this country as a pizza connoisseur, and I must say truly this is top notch the best pizza in many ways. Homemade dough , in house ranch. Whoever is the owner has created a true gem in the hills of north Georgia . Brilliant service and neat atmosphere . Btw if pizza have tumors it’s going to be Devine.

Can not say enough wonderful things about this establishment!!
From the warmest welcome as you walk in the door, to the delicious food! The Reuben sandwich is my absolute favorite, as well as The Junction pizza! Oh, and the cauliflower crust is amazing as well! The wings! The desserts! I can’t choose just one thing!
The owners are all bright lights in a world that needs more like them.
Check it out. You won’t be disappointed!

Hidden gem, good food and very friendly service. My and my family’s new place to go when traveling in the area. I had a sub this time and it was great. My emotional support dog was allowed in too and made new friends helpful people there.

I just finished my wonderful Italian sandwich for lunch, and I figured it was beyond time to leave CGS a review. I haven’t tried anything I didn’t like yet (Italian Subs, Pizzas, and Wings are my favorites). A family member did not particularly enjoy the meatball sub, but there are so many other delicious things to choose from. The banana pudding and lattes have been catching my eye for a while now, and I can’t wait to try them soon. I also love all the events they offer (bands, karaoke, craft events, etc.)! Most of all, the employees are always so nice, and the service is quick. I highly recommend calling ahead for a dine-in pizza because it takes about 20 minutes to make one.

As someone who loves to see small businesses thrive, I believe there are some improvements the store could implement. My family stumbled upon this store nearly a year and a half after it opened despite living nearby. I wish the store would increase its advertising to expand its customer base, especially those who live across the state line and may not go through downtown Cohutta often. The wall down the middle of the store, which I believe they used to create office space on the other side, should be removed. The store’s open, yet cozy, environment was definitely impacted by adding the wall. It makes the store feel so much smaller, especially when crowd levels are high. Since they added the wall, the “general store” section was cut significantly. Therefore, I don’t really consider it a true general store anymore. I understand the reason for having such a small merchandise section is likely due to margins and the current economy causing people to purchase more food and necessities over merch. However, I hope they will re-expand their “store” section once again with more vintage sodas, a soda bar (fingers crossed), bulk candy, coffee grounds, jams, and other novelties. I would love for CGS to have the same foot traffic as general stores in other Georgia towns. Another addition that my family disagreed with was the addition of alcoholic beverages to the menu in an effort to compete with the white building across the street. We found it odd considering the focus on a family-friendly, Christian environment. Regardless of these suggestions, we love CGS and what they pour out into the great city of Cohutta! Go support this wonderful business!

Very family friendly with lots of board games for kids to play while you’re waiting on your meal. The pizza was very good, and the service was outstanding. Don’t be in a hurry when you go here bc you will want to hang out for a while. The atmosphere is so inviting and laid back.
