CoHo is truly my favorite place in Patchogue. I love to go in, grab a coffee, and sit and read. The atmosphere is perfect- I love it both on a warm day sitting outside and on a cold day when it’s nice and cozy inside. My favorite is the salted chocolate cookie and their hot chocolates. It is my goal to try everything they have to offer!!! I’m especially excited they are coming to our local Bayport Bluepoint Library!!!

Super cozy with plenty of tables. A couple of people were hanging around working on laptops. Other small groups sitting and enjoying their beverages. I liked how there was also countertop seating. I loved the Christmas decorations!
My regular coffee was burnt and/or extremely bitter. I had to throw half of it out.

This place was a mess and clearly has no system for pickup orders. There is a section by the entrance labeled for pickups, but it might as well not exist. I placed an order ahead of time, showed up, and the pickup shelf was empty. Instead there was a line of about ten people. I tried to go to the front to let them know I was only picking up, but no one acknowledged me.
I waited ten more minutes for them to put my order out. They never did. Then I had to get in the regular line and wait another ten to fifteen minutes. By the time I finally reached the counter, I had been in the shop for around thirty minutes. My food had been sitting there the whole time getting cold.
I will never do pickup here again. I stood in a crowded, dark, loud space for half an hour only to be handed a cold grilled cheese that cost sixteen dollars. Easily the worst experience I have had at a coffee shop.
When I finally got to the front, I asked the guy if I was really supposed to stand in a long line for a simple pickup order. He shrugged and said I could try cutting in front next time and tell them I was picking up. I actually tried that. There was no room to cut in and no one to talk to.
The setup here is the real problem. They need a clear system so pickup orders are separate from regular walk ins. This is Long Island. This is basic. Until they figure it out, I am not coming back.

I’ve been a frequent visitor of COHO since undergrad. Any chance I have to wake up and start my day at COHO is a good day. The staff is lovely, some even know my name/order by heart. A very personal touch. Owner Rob, is nothing short of a local legend. Paving the way for others on what brings our community together. He hosts local runs, open mic nights, & participates in charitable events all hosted at COHO. Besides that, he makes sure everyone feels welcome and understood when they walk into the warmth of energy COHO brings. You will never be disappointed when grabbing coffee and a sweet treat here. <3

He’s warm, welcoming, and always goes out of his way to make sure our runners are comfortable and have everything we need to fuel up before and after our miles.
