Casual drinks and gourmet bites in a historic 1890s saloon. We slow-smoke our meats for our tacos, sandwiches, and house-made soups. Daily specials.

Late dinner options in Wallace weren’t great for us, but this place with its rocking soundtrack and chopped locals was the place to be. Food, whilst just dogs and pulled pork on the menu was what I was hoping for. Tasty and generous portions.

Service was top notch.

After the marathon we were starving and thought we’d give cogs a try. The food and the atmosphere were so fun. Andrew gave us great service and made us feel right at home. Fantastic gem in Wallace.

FOOD TO DIE FOR! We shared the churched up shrimp cocktail and then the martini lobster mashed potatoes to start – they were so great we just couldn’t stop eating! Next I had the warm mushroom salad – TO DIE FOR – and my husband the Mayberry Muffaletta which he still insists was the best sandwich ever. The atmosphere was happy, warm and bustling with live music – but the friendly service never faltered. This place truly is the center of the universe!

Amazing place to grab a bite or a drink, service was amazing and the vibe was fantastic. Love the staff, as they genuinely seem happy to be at work and make a connection with the customers. This is the best place in the Silver Valley to catch a beer and enjoy a night out.

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday after a race. Pub was manned by 1 person who was in charge of everything from drinks to food. There were two groups of us that came in at the same time so she was busy. Several people stopped in for a drink and left shortly there after because she was busy with the food orders. Get her some help! Total time spent there was close to 2 hours and a good 1.5 of that was waiting for food.

On the corner of “The Center of the Universe” this was one of the true gems of Wallace. Historic building remodeled beautifully with an amazing menu and super friendly service. They made us feel right at home and shared with us the history of the town while we enjoyed our meal!

The pulled pork sandwich is a must try when stopping at cogs. Not only that, but they have karaoke Friday and saturdays. We had a delicious dinner and got to sing our favorite songs while Andrew and grace served us fabulous drinks. 10/10.

Gourmet-to-go! After a great dinner the night before, we stopped in to pick up some packaged meals for our road trip to Roosevelt Lake. Man! When we unwrapped our goodies at our campsite we were delighted with some real treats. A meze plate with a whipped cream cheese tatziki, homemade pickled peppers and hummus with peta – an outrageously delish chicken pot pie, an Italian sub, and the gracious chef added a super YUMMY strawberry cream cheese pie for us. This added a whole new dimension to the “glamping” concept!
