Coffeebar is an iconic Truckee institution. This location is near the interstate and always has quick, friendly service – exactly what you want before hitting the freeway. However, it feels like their baked goods are incosistent and the staff isn’t always aware of the ingredients for those with allergies – maybe signs would help. The customer space is cramped and I always feel like I’m in the way if I eat inside, even though they have obviously allocated space for it.

Their baked goods are fantastic. Their coffee skills are very poor. Luke warm drink straight from the “barista” and grossly overpriced. Enjoy the baked goods but get your coffee elsewhere.

Great coffee, tasty pastries, fast service, and friendly staff. This is a great little place to stop if you’re looking for a quick bite. There is also a Rivian charger in the parking lot, so it’s a great place to charge and grab a snack on your way over the pass.

The coffee is good sometimes not hot enough. But 15 dollars for a breakfast sandwich that is just reheated in a microwave is a bit steep I feel like. You can get a hole breakfast from coffee and for that price And free refills on the coffee.
