This is such a neat place to run away to from the chilly weather in Greenville!! It’s underground and the atmosphere is so cozy and warm. The staff are friendly and the barista remembered us when we walked in a week later!! The hubs and I stayed here for a few hours while waiting for our son. We had an awesome breakfast and a lot of freshly brewed coffee! They offer 2 hours of free WiFi so don’t forget to grab your password from the cashier! Will definitely visit again!!!

We had a great experience at Coffee Underground. The atmosphere has a cool, laid-back vibe, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. My wife had the homemade farmer’s quiche, and I ordered the build-your-own breakfast sandwich on a croissant with provolone, scrambled egg, and spicy sausage — great flavor. For drinks, I had the Hot Frog latte and she had the plain latte; both were excellent. Awesome food, great coffee, and a place we’d definitely come back to.

Cool little coffee shop placed underneath the building on the side. Reminded me a lot of a speakeasy atmosphere. The barista took our order and even made some suggestions. Very friendly. The wait was not long at all. Plenty of seating for individuals or even larger groups. They had table and chairs, couches and even booth seating. The lattes were really good. And of course by the pics are nicely crafted. The cinnamon scone was fabulous and the bacon egg and cheese biscuit and the croissants were really good too. The place seemed clean and they had areas to plug in your phones and laptops. Very cool coffee shop. I also loved the art work hanging everywhere.I only wished I would have found it before the last day of my trip.

Cute, cozy, a lot of options, friendly staff, yummy food, creative and delicious coffees. Highly recommend! The coco nutty is a top favorite in Greenville! Pancakes remind us of childhood and homemade. We look forward to returning!

I have been multiple times. The coffee is excellent, the espresso martini is outstanding and the omelet cooked to perfection. I am not on Instagram. I told her that 50 times including just yesterday and she just sent me another one on messenger wow Tommy.

Underground Coffee is such a great spot in downtown Greenville! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for starting the day. I tried their breakfast and absolutely loved it—the eggs were cooked perfectly and everything tasted fresh. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a go-to place if you’re in the area and want a delicious breakfast with excellent coffee to match!

Long line but goes fast. The order was ready quickly and was well prepared. My wife did a build your own sandwich with egg, cheddar, and spicy sausage on a croissant. I had the classic breakfast with veggie sausage and home fried potatoes without toast. I also took an apple cider pie slice to go. Plenty of seating.

Honestly, I am kinda sad that I have to leave a review to a place I’ve visited for the las 5yrs ever since I moved to this city. From welcoming and accommodating to everyone, it became far less then ok. Last Thursday, I stopped by to enjoy great coffee while getting some work done. Unfortunately, you can only have access to the internet no more than 2hrs. I normally stay longer than 2hrs which in the past would have encourage me to buy more food/drinks. The whole point of a coffee place is to relax and not feel rushed. It is disappointing to know that it has come down to limiting the pleasure of your customers. I understand you have become incredibly popular and busy but this approach it hurts those that have been loyal to you for a very long time. I am glad that the coffee shop next door is now avaliable. Highly recommend. No silly rules while they still encourage you to stay and come back. Perhaps you should take a look and review the basics of customer service.
