Coffee Elsewhere is a fantastic place! The staff is incredibly personable and kind. They really care about their customers. The food and coffee is amazing! They also have such a great selection of seasonal drinks. It is such a cozy vibe and great for a good yap session, study session, or just to get out of the house. I highly recommend this sweet little hole in the wall coffee shop!!!

Coffee Elsewhere is a cafe trifecta: great coffee, great food, and great people. Not to mention the delightful decor and charm of its location on the Historic Independence Square. The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly, and are always willing to work with you to find something you’ll like. They offer a classic espresso menu, tea and other non-coffee beverages, and a curated selection of cafe food and pastries.

I stumbled upon this cute local coffee shop and had the sweetest experience! Tori (barista) was making cinnamon rolls and the whole shop smelled incredibly. It instantly brought me back to my childhood, spending time with my parents. When I mentioned that to her, she surprised me with one to take home. It was hands down the best cinnamon roll of my life! The kindness, the music, and the cozy atmosphere made my day. Thank you, Tori!

Delicious food items- the quiche is savory and rich. Don’t pass up on the cinnamon roll- they are soft and fluffy with a creamy icing! We stopped in 2x while staying in the area for coffee & breakfast and both experiences did not disappoint. They are busier in weekends, with limited seating but the wait was not long to receive our items.

Very cozy coffeeshop. The person working was friendly. The coffee is some of the best I’ve had. Nice place to also come work as they have Wall outlets to be able to plug into. They are also eco friendly.

Truly a lovely gem of a coffee shop. I’d strongly recommend it for its atmosphere, staff and of course coffee. If I lived closer this is where I’d study or meet clients for a low pressure meeting for sure. Also the to go cup design… genius

First time coming in and I immediately felt a whole vibe. The coffee was amazing and the baked goods as well. But above all is how they treat the customers everything is fun and interactive. They know all the regulars by name and great them as such. I’ll be coming back consistently now. Can not speak highly enough of this coffee shop.

The coffee and food are soooo good! All of the pastries are made in house. They might have one of the biggest and best cinnamon rolls I’ve had. Quiche?! So good. Cookies? Delish. The overall vibe of this place is great. The crew is very helpful and friendly. I prefer Coffee Elsewhere over every other coffee shop (big or small) in Kansas City!
