Good cozy place to hangout, right next to Old Hilliard Square. Lot of sitting arrangements outside. Am sure summer time might be quite busy. Btw, they have satellite store in Central Market across the street. Nicely and cozily decorated. Definitely relaxing place and make “connections”, just like what the business name indicates and it truly does. Worth stopping by. Coffee was good, if you like little strong. Enjoy your “connection”. ☕

Coffee was good, I didn’t find it spectacular. Location is the real star as are all of the local things to buy. Great spot to sit inside or out. Absolutely loved this area (Hilliard) and would highly recommend a walk in neighborhood with a stop at this comfortable neighborhood shop.

Great location in downtown Hilliard. The coffee was good, not terribly priced, and they have a decent selection of baked goods from local suppliers. The highlight is definitely the outdoor seating and kids play areas, both inside and outside. Highly recommend for kids under 5.

Today (6/29/2025) was only my second visit to Coffee Connections. I ordered food for the first time and got the Breakfast Sammy. The girl at the counter kindly went over the available bagel options. I chose the pretzel bagel because it sounded unique and different from the usual.

When I received my order, the bagel looked just like a plain one. I went back and asked the same employee if it was really a pretzel bagel, and she confidently said yes. Still unsure, I looked up Bear’s Bagels to see what their pretzel bagels are supposed to look like. What I found made it clear that what I was given was not a pretzel bagel. It lacked the color, texture, and appearance of one entirely.

What really disappointed me was not just the mistake, but how the employee doubled down on it. Instead of acknowledging that there may have been a mix-up, she stuck to her answer even though it was obviously incorrect. Mistakes are understandable, but refusing to own up to them is not.

On a positive note, the coffee is good. I love that they roast their own beans and not use Hemisphere or Crimson Cup, which is subjectively not good coffee, like 90% of the coffee shops around Columbus. However, based on this experience, the service needs improvement. A little honesty and accountability would go a long way in making customers feel respected and valued.

Great cozy coffee shop in old Hilliard. Staff was super friendly and helpful with the menu. Coffee was terrific. Had a Bear’s Everything Bagel with sausage, cheese, and egg. It was delicious, maybe could have used a little salt. The seasonal Gingerbread was flavorful, though a tad dry. They bottle and sell their coffee syrup, so I am excited to come back and get one for home. We went mid morning on a Saturday and it was slightly busy but no wait. Plenty of seating down stairs and up. They have a lot of board games sitting around to play as well. Great place to grab coffee and hang out!

Was looking for a coffee shop with great coffee, syrups, food, and atmosphere, so happy I found it! They have cute little gifts you can buy, great coffee, great syrups (that you can also buy and bring home!!!), and great baked goods! We got a maple flavored cappuccino, mocha drip coffee, and egg & cheese sandwich on a rosemary bagel all for $12. Not only do they have a great atmosphere but great prices too! Excited to make this my weekend go to cafe 🙂

Ordered a pistachio latte and a vanilla steamer.

To be honest, would rather have had someone dump a vanilla steamer on my chest than have to drink this ball tasting sugary pap. Did anyone taste these things before offering them?

The pistachio latte didn’t taste like pistachio at all, just sugary milky water with a hint of folgers finest.

To top it off it cost over ten dollars. For those of you who actually work for a living, this is the same value as 30 minutes of labor. 1/16th of your work day to pay for hot garbage.

“Cozy chic” and “local vibes” cannot cover for bad coffee. Boo. Hiss. I’ve literally had better coffee from a gas station. And it cost half as much.

Oh and one more thing. The valentines sleeves made by local kids were all made upside down, so you can’t even read them properly on the cup. Not the kids fault, where was the quality control? Not here, as evidenced by the trash coffee.

Peace.

Have been several times and it’s always fresh and delicious! The cofee is perfect. I usually get an iced vanilla latte but the crisp spring rain made me get an iced maple latte today and oh my goodness – delicious! The breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel is my fav and they have gourmet cake pops that my daughter loves. Warm, friendly service. Main cozy coffee house and we love the annex in the back with a large play area upstairs! (For awhile when we went we thought the play area was upstairs in the main house, and while it has some books and puzzles and we always enjoyed it, we then realized the play area is actually in the back building lol!) I love the hospitable and warm feel and their mission to love and serve this community. Great coffee is the cherry on top!

Very cute coffee shop located in Old Hilliard. The location is right on the Main Street, which allows you to walk around to some great shops, parks, and other restaurants. However if you want to stay, there is plenty of seating downstairs, upstairs, and outside. The counter is located at the back of the shop, and right next to that is the door that leads outside. You can also purchase items from local people. Parking is free on the street and there are plenty of free parking lots in the area.
