You know the food is going to be good when they’ve got the paper placemats and greet their VFW’s by name as they come in. Everything was fresh and delicious, and much of it like the breads and sauces were made from scratch. We couldn’t believe the bill when it came either! You would pay about the same at a drive through for two coffees and two reheated breakfast sandwiches. We also grabbed some doughnuts and cake from the glass case on the way out, which were just as good.

The food was sooo good! Eggs Benedict were perfect… and the white toast out of this world. Getting our food was quick, my coffee was topped off at the right time. Once you come in the bakery smells will want you to get one of each.

The staff were nice and the food wasn’t very expensive. The dining room was way too small and was super cramped, which made it less enjoyable for me. The food is ok but lacks any seasoning, making it very bland, although they do have salt and pepper on the tables. They make their jam fresh at the restaurant and its super good. The pancakes weren’t cooked completely. It’s ok. 3☆

Definitely our favorite place for breakfast in the area. The home cooked food can’t be beat! The prices are good and the service is great. Unfortunately for us it is 500 miles away, but when we come up to visit breakfast there is always on the top of our to do list. Thank you!

The breakfast is decent Steph did not really check on us after seeing us other than taking your order and delivering our food. They were pretty busy and there was a wait for about 15 minutes. Seems like the local place. Parking is a bit difficult unlimited. I had the meat lover 3egg omelette.

Well, a place served by women, then you must be patient because there is a wait to get a table, when you are at the table the service is good and depending on what you order, it takes time. The prices are excellent, I would give them 5 stars but 2 things happened. First we ordered a cranberry muffin and they brought us a plain one, and then we ordered some Florentine eggs, the eggs should have been poached and they arrived overcooked.

This place really is a hidden gem. Such a great traditional homestyle breakfast joint. Their corned beef hash is the absolute best I’ve ever had. I gave the atmosphere 4 stars just because it’s a small restaurant and can get crowded, but otherwise is so cute.

Delicious food and friendly service served here! Visiting from California, I found this gem online, and I absolutely enjoyed my breakfast of 2 eggs, ham, and home fries with onions and green peppers. I chose their massive warm fluffy biscuit with their house made strawberry rhubarb jam. Incredibly delicious, comfort food for a reasonable price!

We had heard a lot of great things about this place and were really looking forward to trying it, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype for us.

The eggs were pale and lacked flavor, and they were cooked with so much oil that they ended up quite slimy. The biscuits and gravy were just okay — a touch of sage came through, but overall it was underseasoned and very light on sausage. The biscuits themselves were a bit dense but decent.

The coffee tasted like standard restaurant coffee — weak and nothing memorable. When we ordered unsweetened tea, we were surprised to just get a bottle of Pure Leaf with a glass, rather than freshly brewed tea.

The food came out quickly, but overall, the quality and flavor just didn’t match what we’d heard.

Nice breakfast Cafe. They make their own raisin bread and jams. Cooked my eggs perfect. The country potatoes are a little different, and not sure if Mainers like their toast burnt. The coffee and cream are very good. Seems Mainers like a more mild coffee. I don’t care for strong coffee. Ate here twice while in Hampden.
