We come here quite a bit when we visit my parents. Their happy hour specials can’t be beat. The rolls and bottomless salad are amazing. Food is good depending on what you order. Not a 5 star restaurant but good bar food. Most of the staff is amazing. There are a few waitresses that are not friendly.

First time to Cody’s! It was good! Ken our server was excellent & very personable! Would come back again, but we leave in a few days. Their salad was superb!! I had the beet battered Hallock & my hubs had the top sirloin. Both very good!

My husband and I had an early dinner there before the live music that started at five in the Square at the villages.The outside seating was full, so we sat inside and were sat immediately. Our server was Mikey and he was great. We were surprised to find their happy hour was for Every kind of beverage, not just beer. That’s a bit uncommon for us to discover. Our food was great. My husband had the Mediterranean kebabs, and I had a quesadilla. Mikey also brought us some of the yeast rolls with that yummy melted, flavored butter. They were amazing. We were thoroughly happy with our experience.

Good was alright, shockingly cold inside the building. Crazy decor, I really do wonder how they dust all of it. Expect to wait. Chopped salad was yum!

First time I went to Cody’s was Monday the 26th, service was weak at best. The server claimed I looked like a worker and walked passed me several times, I had a company issued computer and logo’ hat and shirt.
Salad was wilted especially for 11:00 am, the steak came out was not cooked to temp, and what ever this “spoon fool of lovin steak sauce” is absolutely awful.
Second time was tonight 2/2. Salad was disgusting! The steak again is over cooked .. The bar area is moldy and filthy. The freezer that houses the mugs has ice build up that is grayish black and needs cleaned. The dust build up on the vents is atrocious !! I could go on, DO BETTER CODYS ! You’re sucking big time !!

Ordered the mixed grill combo. Service is great . I love the food comes out fresh and hot on the skillet and you have to order the Pesco drink to go with it. Hands down seafood lovers this is the place!!!

Came for an early lunch. A burger and a ribeye med rare. The burger came out and was great. The ribeye came out medium. After a quick show and tell with the waiter, the plate went back and a new stake was fired up. Came out med rare and was perfect! The manager came out to check on my meal as well as the Head Chef as well. Was very impressed how they all took my satisfaction so seriously.

Wonderful atmosphere. A bit pricey, but well worth the experience. Love the live music on veranda. Beautiful scenery from pier. Warm friendly, knowledgeable wait staff serving with a smile.

Aside from some new people working there (something that was mentioned to me) I have NO IDEA why this place is rated anything less than 5.0 stars! Jess was my server and she was very attentive and kind. Every question I asked her, she was honest and the food did NOT DISAPPOINT! I wanted to try a new restaurant in The Villages so I could bring my family back and honestly I love this place! The food, the atmosphere, the music, my server Jess, the manager who stopped by to ask about my meal, my filet with sautéed mushrooms (divine) just everything today was excellent. I love the kindness of everyone, my server Jess is a true gem and the food is just out of this world! I HIGHLY recommend Cody’s in The Villages and ask for Jess, she is a wonderful server and gave me very good feedback on what I was looking to eat which exceeded my expectations! Thank you Cody’s in The Villages for a great tasting lunch!
