Great restaurant in west village! We had octopus salad and califlower soup from the special menu and it was fantastic! Must try. It was probably one of my favorite octopus dish in the city!
For the pasta, we had bolonese and it was very tasty with a lot of meat and cheese.
Daniel treated us so well that we felt so comfortable the entire time we were there. We had a very good time, the service and food, definitely will be back!
-Also, they do happy hour until 7pm for $7 and the negroni and the wine was awesome!

Had a wonderful birthday dinner at Codino last night! We needed something close to our hotel and this was the perfect hidden gem. The space was so cozy and aesthetic. Daniel, our server, took amazing care of us and really made our experience! The NY steak special was cooked perfectly and the shrimp appetizer was to die for. I wish we were local to try all the other dishes – you definitely have to try this place out. We will be back next time in the city!

The food, ambiance, and staff of this place is out of this world. I had an amazing risotto special recommended by our fabulous waiter Daniel, who was also in charge of the location’s service. Quite seriously the best risotto I’ve ever had – it’s a dish that so often restaurants miss the mark on from overcooking, incorrect flavor palette, etc.
Daniel also recommended excellent wine pairings, and provided us with a fun combination of humor, attentiveness, and allowing us our space.
The atmosphere was fueled by a fusion of interior decor, a quirky but somehow seamless mix of music over the ages, and low chatter from customers.
I cannot recommend this place enough – one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to!

Without a doubt Codino is one of the BEST places I’ve dined at. The food is amazing! My favorites are the truffle gnocchi (my Lord), lobster ravioli, crab cakes, Caesar salad, lamb chops and truffle mash potatoes!!!
In addition, Samet has to be one of the kindest most accommodating humans I’ve come across. He’s literally a Blessing and enhances the dining experience a hundredfold! Samet & the staff at Codino are a match made in heaven!

Best food experience ever! Samet is really who makes the location feel like home. So welcoming and nice there aren’t enough words to explain how well we feel treated by him and the rest of the staff! The food is amazing truffle gnocchi melts in your mouth, lamb chops are cooked to perfection and the lobster ravioli is the perfect balance of savory and light. I really roll out of here everytime I come( which is every other week at this point!) . Although I’d love to leave this little gem to myself and hubby I have to share what an amazing location this is.

Came to the neighborhood, and found this hidden gem! Happy hour drinks, delicious dishes and amazing dessert! Highly recommend the octopus salad, not typical and warm, you won’t regret! Daniel who served us tonight was very nice and professional. Please check out this place whenever you’re around!

Excellent food, service and a very cozy atmosphere. We had a birthday celebration here with 8 people, and it felt like the restaurant was our own. Everyone raved about the food as well. Mango salad special and Spaghetti & meatballs were fantastic.

Loved this place! We came for a work team dinner, and the service could not have been better. Everyone’s food and drinks were great as well. We pretty much ordered the gamut of the menu, so I don’t think you can go wrong here

Cute spot with outdoor seating and delicious food! We ordered a few things from the specials menu and every single one of them was amazing! The mango salad was delicious and very well presented. I also ordered the octopus salad as my main and could not finish it! The branzino was also very tasty and well prepared. We will be back 🙂
