When I pulled up the parking lot was empty. I was worried. I ordered fried flounder and shrimp with fries. The fish was hot, fresh and crispy. The cashiers were friendly. The fries had some sort of seasoning which tasted like popcorn salt which wasn’t appealing but overall it wasn’t bad. They didn’t have ketchup and that was disappointing but I left full and satisfied.

I’m giving this place 3 stars unfortunately for a number of reasons not directly related to the taste of my food because it was decent (not amazing) but definitely manageable.
What wasn’t manageable was my time having to wait for my order to be taken and received. It was an excess of 45 minutes easy.
I also attempted to reach them via phone to place pick up order and I wanted to check menu out via website but neither option was on the google listing when I checked.
The seafood wasn’t very fresh and tasted once frozen. The sides weren’t exciting. This is a black ram establishment and that charms me but Juicy crab is unfortunately still a step above in flavor.
However this place can’t be beat in quantity of food, giving you tons of value for your money.

Excited & hungry , I tried this place for the first time January 9th 2023. I ordered the food via door dash while at work. I was very shocked and disappointed to discover the extremely poor quality of the food delivered when the plate arrived . I ordered the pick two combo and selected the five piece fried oysters and three piece perch fish. Unfortunately,The oysters were missing all together , and there were six pieces of old very greasy stale hard to chew pieces of fish laid under a pile of old fries which look like they had been fried in the same dirty grease . I only gave this establishment one star because of the attempt to use lemon pepper seasoning which strangely kept me from throwing up the entire meal that seemed saturated in cold grease , however I still ended up throwing away over half of it. I see now what I was sadly missing and have no desire whatsoever to return for a sequel. If this is the best food they can offer they won’t be around long. Please don’t take my word for it give it a try you might be pleasantly surprised..or NOT.

Wow! We loved our experience at Cod Tails on Sunday for lunch. Husband got grilled tilapia and had nothing but good things to say. I got the boiled shrimp 1/2 pound with potatoes and corn. The sauce I chose was mild house, which is a very very yummy mild Cajun buttery blend of deliciousness! Waitress was great and super friendly and made us feel welcome. Can’t wait to got back! If you like that other restaurant that you get gloves and bib to eat your food, have to try Cod Tails!

This food was not good at all. I asked for the wings to be fried hard and they weren’t. The chicken tasted like they sprinkled it with lemon pepper or something after it was done. The rice was mushy and definitely didn’t taste like shrimp fried rice. It tasted like the rice was overcooked. Then added soy sauce and vegetables to try to cover up the white rice taste but it didn’t work. Huge portion of shrimp fried rice with 1 jumbo shrimp and 3 medium ones. I will definitely not eat here again.

Empty parking lot means plenty of parking. Roomy inside, nice setup. Nice menu choices. I got the boiled in a bag shrimp. Win Win.
The only negative about the place was the sticky tables, just need a stronger cleaner.

The food was extremely disgusting! The lobster PoBoy was like the lobster roll from captain’s dees And the bread was just disgusting it wasnt what I expected . The only thing that cheered my meal was the corn on the cob. I literally hated this ,dont come here!!!!!! Also it made me and my 2 sons left ill are stomach hurts.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Onion rings and whole chicken wings were FLAVORLESS. Tenders were not fresh. Overpriced and a waste of money. Left most of it there. There’s a reason why the parking lot is always empty. Should’ve read the reviews first .

I love the catfish and the staff they are awesome and amazing I love Sam he took care of me and my party and I come here all the time for the catfish that’s all I eat. I gave this place a 5 star’s for everything they do to make you feel welcome.
