I got 7 steak tacos spent some good money and there was more onions and cilantro on the tacos then meat there was like 3 tacos worth of meat used on 7 not one to leave bad reviews but if someone is spending money like that at least give them what they pay for

I had The Steak Burrito, Chicken Nachos and 2 chicken, pork and steak Tacos. Everything was super bland. But the prices are good. I think they should marinate the meat longer and add more seasoning. I think they should switch their tortilla chips as well,very bland. Burrito 7/10. Nachos 7/10. Pork Tacos 6/10. Steak Tacos 5/10. Chicken Tacos 7/10. Shout out the Cooks/Chefs in the back. Food Game 6/10. Portion Game 8/10. Price Game 8.5/10. Overall Cucos Tacos 6.5/10.

It’s definitely more authentic than most. Some of the taco choices could use some work. I.e carnita tacos, al pastor these types I have had better elsewhere, but they hit the Birria pizza and birria tacos, right? A little crowded and small to sit and eat. But well worth the price for the authentic flavors. We have to go back for their soups.

Ordered delivery from them. Tacos barely had any meat at all, and the meat that was on them was dry and had gristles. Also ordered their corn in a cup (elote) it had way too much mayo in it. I don’t think I’ll every order from here again

This place is such an amazing place. Everything is fresh and authentic. Hands down the best biria I have found in Peoria. If you haven’t been in to try them, I highly recommend that you do. The restaurant is pretty small but I believe there are a few outside tables.

AWESOME birria and fresh salsas. Flavorful and fresh and cheesy amazing stuff totally worth every penny. Super friendly. Very small place but that’s okay because the food and service is awesome.

I ordered lunch because my power went out. This was the first time I’ve tried this place. My food came in a black plastic bag and the chips were torn open with chip all over in the bag. Didn’t include salsa with my meal. The queso wasn’t all the way melted and I had no power so I couldn’t heat it up. The elote was overcooked and gross. My steak tacos were filled with gobs of cilanto and onion which I prefer that to be on the side so I can put the amount I want. The corn tortillas weren’t fresh and the steak was chewy. The queso and the beans were so salty that I couldn’t eat them. The rice was ok. All in all, I’m very frustrated that I spent money on this place. It won’t happen again.

Super friendly people behind the counter! This was our first time eating here. We ordered the pizzabirrio and a couple chicken tamales- by suggestion! Food was made fresh and delicious. It’s a lovely little hole in the wall!

Hands down the best tamales I have ever had… in ILLINOIS!!! And I’m from Colorado! Small hole the wall but worth the find!

4/1/25 Changing my review. Since the move to the new address this place has gone down hill big time. See picture. Second order that was unsatisfactory this month. Geez guys! What’s up? Ordered a poblano tamale and got a meat one (can’t eat that) that was literally hard as a rock when I unwrapped it! Are there new owners? What the heck k! I made a video too but can’t upload it. Will go to my Google Reviews and upload it. The order on the bag clearly says Problano Tamale.
