I wanted some shrimp and stumbled across this restaurant. I called in my order of jumbo shrimp with an extra order of shrimp. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and the lady asked my name and if it was ready. My food was ready and I seen chocolate cake which is my favorite cake which I added. My meal was a little over $32. When I got in the car I tried everything and everything was very good. The shrimp was seasoned just the way I liked and I really liked the broccoli. The cake was also very moist and tasty. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

I ordered the Lobster Mac N Cheese which was $17.50 from UberEats and the Okra side dish which was $4.25. Okra was flavorless and soggy and the Mac n Cheese had either Imitation Crab or Lobster it. No idea why I paid $17.50 under the impression that I’d be getting 100% real Lobster. Not 50% real and 50% imitation. Mac N Cheese was also overcooked and full of grease.

5 STARS, Everything from the delicious food, overall cleanliness, pricing, and friendly demeanor of the staff was top-notch. After a long day at work not wanting to cook, I wanted a fresh cooked meal and Ms.Coco did not disappoint. The menu had lots of options to serve my family which includes two picky eating toddlers. They absolutely love the mac and cheese. Our go to on take out night. Best seafood in the Poconos by far

Now my initial review was for fresh seafood order, I didn’t eat here at all. After seeing the response back from my original review, I decided to go back and see if the situation could be rectified, which it was. I can see why my son was excited about this place. They’re very friendly and personable and the food is to die for. Everything is made fresh to order and/or homemade like the cakes.
My Lobster Tail order was replaced and she added an extra Lobster Tail as a apology. I decided to have the the Lobster Tails steamed there with butter, garlic, old bay and cajun seasoning for no extra charge and that was the best decision I made, simply delicious. While there, I decided to order some Fried Shrimp and Chips, Steam Scallops and Vegetables, and Chicken and Waffles, along with sides of Mac and Cheese, Collard Greens, Banana Pudding and a few slices of Lemon Cake (since my son was extremely raving about the cake… BTW, rightfully so!) to bring home to my family.
The food was excellent. One thing is the food is not overly salted, the half and half (Lemonade/Tea) and Lemon Cake wasn’t overly sweet, which was great for me. The Collard Greens was made with Turkey and you can taste the Turkey, the Mac and Cheese was cheesy and not salty at all. No worries for the people with high blood pressure. Well, suffice to say this place has turned me into a steady customer. Thank you.

I sent my son to purchase fresh seafood for a New Year’s Eve Seafood Boil from here based on the reviews I had seen, instead of heading to Price Chopper, BJ’s or Weis. I love to support local business. He purchased Snow Crab Legs, Shrimp, Scallops, and Lobster Tails. Now, the Snow Crab Legs, Shrimp and Scallops were fresh. But, the 5 Lobster Tails @ $12.99 each he had purchased were not… They were discolored and smelled spoiled. I asked my son about the Lobster Tails and he stated, that those were their last 5 Lobster Tails. The moment the bag was opened anybody can see and smell that they were spoiled. Why were these Lobster Tails sold? Very upset and disappointed.
On a good note, though, my son did state that they were extremely friendly and the food he ate and drank while there was really good. So much so, that he left giving them a nice sizable tip. But, very upset and disappointed about the Lobster Tails. Somebody missed on quality control.

The owner is very warm and nice. The restaurant was clean and the fresh fish looked great. I am still disappointed. I ordered shrimp and grits. I asked for salt and pepper. Grits were plain. The butter did not have any taste either. The worst part they put my shrimp’s on a wax paper then put it on top of my grits !it was all sticky with grits. I ended up throwing it away

Was in there today and might I say it was busy! Having experience in the food service industry I have no problem waiting for good food. So that’s what I did waited and the food was amazing! You can tell the boss took pride in what left that door. So much so that she remade my crochets for me because the first order didn’t look right. I love it and will be going back!

This place should be ashamed to even be serving people food. Ordered the Catfish dinner and Tilapia dinner both only came with 1 piece of fish for 15+ dollars each. Catfish was okay, tilapia tasted fishy. Both pieces of fish were swimming in salt. Mac and cheese had absolutely no taste and their candied yams tasted like nothing but Sugar. Ordered their whiting as well that tasted so old it literally made me sick to my stomach. On the good side their potato salad was alright…… When placing the order was told 15 minutes and it was closer to 45 until it was done. Atleast they were nice enough to bring it out to my car being I had to wait so long. Never coming back and the biggest waste of $40.00 I ever spent. Maybe you should actually care about the people you serve.

The owner and family there are really nice. I ordered the fried Whiting fish sandwich with Wheat Bread and I can’t even lie, the flavor is good. You can taste a spice but it’s not spicy at all. It gives the fish a nice flavor. I also ordered the mac and cheese, yams, and potato salad. Out of all 3 I really enjoyed the Potato Salad. The Mac and yams are good choices too. For the Mac lovers, there is an additional seasoning on the mac, I think old bay??? It’s not the typical Mac and cheese with just salt, pepper, and paprika. It’s not nasty…Trust…and as far as the yams, they are not overly sweet. Although I do like overly sweet Yams too, I appreciated Coco’s yams. It’s just the right amount of a little sweet with the savory flavor. I will definitely come back and get more food. I even ordered the lemon cake and Chile, you can tell it was homemade. Hunny, i buss down thotiana that cake ya heard. The next thing I’m ready to try is the fried chicken and shrimp. If the fish good I know the fried chicken and shrimp would be. The prices are reasonable. For 2 Whiting sandwiches, sides of Mac and cheese, yams, potato salad, lemon cake oh and banana pudding came to like over $30. Not bad at all. Give it a try if you have a taste for some SOUL FOOD. Support local business too.

A family member told me about coco’s and I had to mosy on by and WOW. the catfish was delicious, the lobster Mac was fantastic l, and even the sides were on point. I know where I’m going now for my weekly cheat meal from the gym! Also, her customer service is truly something, she brought it out to my car when I had to take a work call, Coco’s fresh fish market is a must stop don’t delay!

Coco Fresh Fish Market was simply a breath of FRESH AIR on a sunny day! The customer service was SUPERB! They were absolutely nice and very professional. The food was simply delicious! This was definitely worth the visit!!! We will be back! Businesses that value customers are a win!!! This place is a WIN for sure!!
