The food is spot on…every time we have been. The servers are ALWAYS amazing.
Amanda, Hannah, Grace and Alice are our favorites.
Especially – our first time at Coco’s – we met HANNA who went above and beyond and enthusiastically walked us through the menu and helped us pick some delicious dishes from the manus. Since then….we keep coming back more and more….and have become regulars!!!

All the bartenders, wait staff are always so friendly, the food is great! And if you visit the area often grab the tumbler for a variety of drinks that are cheaper on the refills! Oh and they legit have the BEST Rum Runners hands down!
Destinie was our bartender and she was fantastic. Friendly, quick, and on point with recommendations. She kept the bar moving smoothly even when it was busy and made everyone feel welcome. You can tell she enjoys what she does.
If you’re in Indian Rocks Beach and want a fun place to grab a drink and enjoy the scene, Coco’s Crush is a solid choice. I’ll definitely be back.
The bar sits under an orange halo that would make a sunset jealous. Screens beam sports from every angle which is great because nothing complements a seafood feast like watching a stranger drop a wide open pass. The bartenders move with the quiet confidence of people who know how to work a crush machine and solve crises involving spilled condiments. I respected them instantly.
Kids get a full coloring sheet which doubles as a covert distraction tool while adults choose between culinary heavy hitters. Every plate that passed my vantage point looked like evidence in a very delicious investigation.
If you linger a moment, you notice details. The boardwalk style flooring. The merch rack glowing in the corner. A small figure near the doorway pretending he is not on surveillance duty. I blended in well enough; no one suspects the action figure with perfect balance and a strict justice based diet.
By the time dessert rolled around, Key Lime Pie tried to recruit me, and I joined it’s justice league. Delicious!
Detective Tips:
• Try the boneless wings. Very Chick-fil-A like.
• Sit near the bar for optimal people watching but maintain an exit route.
• Bring crayons even if you are an adult; it buys you thinking time.
• Ask about brunch; the sign suggests a mystery worth solving.
Beware of…
• Busy staff. We did not receive our drinks until after the food came out. She blamed it on the bar, but we saw the fountain drink fill station from our table. Luckily she fessed up.
• Inaccurate order taking. Order loudly and clearly. You use a table side POS and the server can input the wrong item if not heard. (As was our case). The wrong burger was delivered, so Wonder Woman had to wait until they made the correct one – she didn’t begin to eat until everyone else’s dishes were cleared.
Now for the not so good. We’ll start with the grouper cheeks. While they were good, my 8 year old daughter decided to try them. She enjoyed them. That is, until she got a bone stuck in the roof of her mouth. I had to go pull it out myself. Inch size bone. Definitely unacceptable. Waitress was very apologetic, but still nothing was done regarding it.
I ordered the seafood boil tub. The crab legs were over overcooked and it was far too challenging to get any meat from them. Mussels were good. Clams were good. Corn was good. Shrimp was also overcooked and not easy to eat.
I’d give this place another chance, but for the $300 it cost us, I’d be hesitant to recommend it to anyone.
