Stopped in from out-of-town while visiting relatives close by. Wanted to get some coffee from a local shop and chose Coco’s. Ended up getting coffee AND a breakfast sandwich.
The breakfast sandwich had chorizo sausage and sriracha and was one of the most unusual sandwiches I’ve ever had. It was delicious and unique!
For coffee I got the dark roast, Americano Style. Also delicious. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful with the choices. Lovely people they’ve got working there. I struck up a conversation with the young manager and asked questions about the building, specifically the tin ceiling. She could not have been nicer as she talked about the decor.
Good food, reasonable prices, lovely wait staff, beautiful building.
Next time I come back, we’ll go to the bookstore right next door too. Coco’s is a special place. Try it………… you’ll be happy you did!

On 12/18/25, 1250pm I wanted to take my granddaughters to eat lunch during the Christmas holiday week. One of them wanted to go thru the drive thru but I convinced her to let’s sit inside and enjoy the atmosphere after the super busy days during this holiday. The restaurant only had only 2 other customers, it was not busy. It was an unfortunate and aggravating decision. We placed the order and which was 2 Italian Paninis and a Cali panini. One Italian and One Cali was brought to the table fairly quick. In waiting for the other Italian panini, for the granddaughter who wanted to go through the drive thru, myself and the other granddaughter began to eat was almost finished. I walked up to the counter and asked one of the server, “There is another Italian panini coming out right”? She said she would check. We waited for a response and continued to eat, finishing our meal. I looked to back behind me to see the server who never came to give me a response and approached her again and asked what is going on and her response was it’s coming with no apologies nor explanation. Sat back down disappointed and aggravated‼️ Close to 30 minutes finally was brought out from the kitchen and as they were placing it on the table they said they don’t know what happened if the ticket wasn’t printed and once again no apologies for whatever was the problem on their end. My granddaughter so angry she said I just want to take it home. So much for enjoying a holiday lunch date. The meals cost us over $56.00. It’s a shame that we waiting so long with no apologies and with their no care attitude from servers not even management acknowledged

My family and I just moved to Kewanee a couple of days ago. I took my baby with me this morning to grab coffee and breakfast from here. The place is beautiful and the food is delicious. But the staff? There was no energy, they didn’t seem happy to be there. The girl that took my orders did not seem friendly at all. And they don’t have a high chair for little ones. Thank goodness I had my baby’s stroller in the car. If yall are hiring for new servers, I have 7 years of customer service experience in my background. Could definitely use a job and I can liven up the place too. You’d have more customers..

We recently stumbled across this great coffee and ice cream shop on our travels to Galesburg, Illinois. We have friends in Kewanee, and this was a great discovery for us. Great coffee, great service, great ambience, and it’s connected to a bookstore with a lot of variety, including many good books for our children. My only potential negative thing to say is the prices are not cheap, but it is more than worth it. We’re adding this place to our list of stops going to and from Galesburg.

Coco’s is by far my favorite place to get my morning caffeine. Large Irish Cream Cold Brew is my daily drink! The girls that work there are friendly and always welcome you with a smile, wether it’s cold, raining, snowing or plain hot, they always greet you with a smile and look genuinely happy to see you! This is my boyfriends and myself FAVORITE morning coffee run, or saturday morning pick up. It is the only coffee shop he is willing to say he loves, and always is a yes when i ask for a sweet treat. The girls who work there are always so kind and sweet, and beautiful may i add. And super quick with service and the food and coffee is always over the top good. They genuinely out-do themselves every time. They have so many drink AND food options, it’s impressive how fast they get the food out. We went for lunch today and my boyfriend specifically asked me to add him into the review because of how much he loved it! Needless to say they are our favorite always worth the drive from Annnawan and the money. Love you guys 🙂
