Oh man, i seriously hoped to never do this. 12/28 (after midnight)
The bartender was one of the worst people i have ever met. This sucks since especially she has served me well, but i’m not sure if she was on another substance or not tonight. Otherwise she needs to be FIRED. I am a local and she treated me like scum of the barrel. No compassion nor a second to do anything. The worst service i have ever encountered. Immediately needs to be fired and blacklisted from any bar. I will be calling the BBB and filling a formal complaint, which sucks since i have been enjoying this bar for almost a decade. It is unfortunate for one bad bartender to ruin the local watering hole i have enjoyed way before she decided to try and scam us. Go to any other bar on big pine. Well as long as she isnt working this bar is well. But whoever was bartending on this date deserves to be fired and ostracized from all of the keys.

Scuba diving cancelled this morning. Stopped in at around 10 am. Not sure the last time I was in a bar at that time! Looking for some friendly conversation. Could NOT have found a LESS FRIENDLY place. Not one person except bartender acknowledged me or returned my good morning. Wow. Not sure I ever experienced anything like this.

Nivlce local spot for locals. Tourist are always welcome – just don’t ask for any overpriced “craft” beer or “umbrella” drinks. If you act too touristy, you’ll be asked to head east.

Cheap place for drinks. Expensive to buy beer. Bartenders have been great, but this is obviously a local smoker’s hangout. Interesting that you can get a haircut in the back. We visited three different times, and usually same smoking crowd. Went to Boardwalks instead.
