I have a great first impression of this place. Definitely seems like they get much more online orders than customers sitting in, but I had a nice visit nonetheless. The crispy brussels, edamame, and crab rangoons were all great. All 3 of us got variations of the Coconut Hudson Special which was consistently delicious across the board.

This restaurant is a fabulous little hidden gem. We had Tom Yum Soup, Pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, and massaman curry. All three dishes were delicious. The Tom Yum Soup was very fresh and flavorful, and got better with each bite. The massaman curry was fantastic, one of my favorite massaman curries I have had. The Pad Thai was great, the noodles were cooked perfectly and the Chicken was flavorful and tender, my daughter is a very picky chicken eater and she approved. While tomhe food was fantastic the service was also incredible. One of the people who work here noticed that my daughter was cold and offered her some hot tea. The server was very attentive and friendly, offering the perfect balance of service without being intrusive. I highly recommend trying the Coconut Rice Thai Cuisine if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed!

Absolutely amazing place we’ve walked/driven by several times but now just stopped in. The food was very hot and delicious. I loved the sauce for the tofu triangles (big fan of chili sauces) and the tamarind duck was divine. Crispy skin to perfection despite all the wonderful tamarind sauce it swam in. The servers were very kind and kept refilling our tea and water. The roasted duck noodle soup was such a generous bowl! All the portions were massive. We topped the dinner off with a Thai custard with sweet sticky rice, which was a combination I’d never had before, but it was a delightful balance of salty, sweet, and a toasted nutiness taken from the toasted sesame that garnished the dish. Very comforting. I’d definitely come back!

Despite the fact that we were the only customers on a rainy Sunday afternoon for lunch, we had a great meal. Prompt, friendly service, fair prices, and excellent food. I had the duck noodle soup and it hit the spot on a cold day! The dining room is small and very plain, but I was there for the food more than the atmosphere.

On this sparkling autumn day I ventured into Coconut Rice for lunch. I love Thai cuisine, I’d had a busy morning running errands and found myself in Hudson and hungry! Coconut rice was on my way home so I popped in!
The spotlessly appointed downstairs dining room has limited seating but I was the only one dining at 2:00. I ordered red curry and a pork dumpling appetizer. Everything was delicious! Crisp julienned carrots lay beside bell peppers and broccoli in a perfectly spiced, smooth red curry sauce. And heart shaped rice patties were so sweet! That thoughtful touch brought an instant smile to my face! The hot Thai tea was perfect and the ice water was sweet with no hint of chlorine!

Delicious food and vegan friendly!! Lots of vegan options when you can pick from tofu/veg!
Server was knowledgeable about making items vegan.
The vegetarian Khao soi was very good and highly recommend!

Coconut Rice is mainly for takeout, but they have a few tables.
Most of the food is delicious, best Thai in the area. While I’d stay away from the veggie appetizer sampler, khao soi is very good, as is drunken noodles. The staff is very friendly.

The food here was absolutely fantastic! My wife and I went here for lunch and there was no wait, sat right down, ordered, and within 10 minutes of ordering we had our food. It was delicious. Incredibly fresh and tasted so so good. Pictured is the Thai fried rice with tofu. Extremely good

Very Good portions. Very clean environment and bathroom. Nice service. Simple space with fresh flower on each table. Pretty tasty even though the dipping sauces are too sweet for me which I didn’t use much.
The 8 of us ordered a sampler, crispy Brussels sprouts(yum!), shrimp fried rice, wonton soup, duck soup noodle, ginger pork, Tom Kah Gai soup(lime+coconut milk, lemongrass, etc., yummy if you like tangy soup), drunken noodle(strong fish sauce and spicy), and the price comes to $18/person after tips with 1.5 portion leftovers. Sorry Didn’t take enough pics . Would come again! Too bad we don’t live in the area.
