Recently ate here between Christmas and New Year’s for lunch. It was super busy bc of the time of year but seating moved along quickly at noon time. The staff were friendly and offered recommendations. The food came out in an appropriate amount of time for the amount of people in the restaurant.
The coconut shrimp are good and a regular choice when I come here. I would personally prefer different dipping sauce than the one provided, something more orange pineapple marmalade coconut.
Something I would note, as we sat in the high tops in the front store area of the restaurant, I would highly encourage staff to watch these items more and verbally discourage everyone from touching everything they aren’t purchasing. Flu A is very high in the area and we watched countless sick customers touching items they didn’t purchase and then putting them back including small children who put stuffed animals in their mouths and then they didn’t buy them and placed them back in the piles.
Also I would encourage staff to offer cash back to customers when paying their bill or to be able to add a car valet tip to the bill. We stood outside with several families who had no cash when they went to get their cars after eating and parking staff were asking if people tipped the guy they requested their car from if they weren’t handing the person who brought it up any money.
Overall it’s a good stop for food and will be by again.

I went to Coconut Jack’s with my wife Meghan for lunch on a busy Friday in February. The beach was jam packed full and we decided to go in for lunch.
I had Jack’s Snapper I think. Fried, crispy and had lots of fantastic fresh veggies and garnish. Meghan had fried coconut shrimp and fries. The fries are not all that special, the shrimp and the sauce were quite good. Especially the sweet sauce. They have whimsical tee shirts available. There is also valet parking, which you pretty much need to use as their lot is at 120-140 percent full all the time. Prepare to tip for that with cash before you come.
We ate outside in the cool shade and it was lovely. There was an option to eat in the sun if you want to bake with the fish ;). You can even drive your boat up to the dock if you’re out adventuring.

So great we rolled the dice tonight and went here ! We tried last Sunday but couldn’t get in. Sat outside because it was so nice out. Reese, our waitress was very nice and helpful. Settled on the coconut shrimp basket with the steamed vegetables, cole slaw and a side of mashed potatoes since we split everything.
The shrimp was great along with the raspberry (?) sauce. The vegetables were cooked just right and not too crunchy, cole slaw was better than that chicken joint’s and I really liked how finely chopped it was and the mashed potatoes were great , almost too well cooked but great nonetheless. Mrs, got a virgin pina colada and it was just right and not too cocunty or pineappley either.
Valet parking was a bonus however our car parked closet to the door. Go figure.

This place was great! We went there as a party of ten with 4 kids and they treated us so well. Mike C. Was our server and he was amazing! Good to our kids, gave us great recommendations for food and drinks. It looks out over the water and is very casual, they have complimentary valet parking. The food was great, drinks were strong and we will be back!

If you’re heading toward Fort Myers Beach, Coconut Jack’s is absolutely worth the stop. We went on a Monday around 3PM and there were 10 cars lined up just to get into the valet-only parking lot. That alone told me this place has something going on.
It’s true waterfront dining with a relaxed, open-air, tiki-roof vibe. We ordered the New England clam chowder, fish and chips, and sides. The fish was golden and crisp, fries were solid, and the chowder was thick and hearty. Service was efficient despite how busy it was.
If you’re visiting the area and want a lively waterfront spot with good seafood and strong energy, this is a great pick.

Fantastic atmosphere. Stopped in for lunch a little before noon on a Saturday. Not too busy; nice and relaxed. They seated me on one of the docks. Incredible. All of the staff is friendly and attentive. This apple cider cocktail they whipped up is exceptionally good. Think I’ll have another before I go.

Great views of the bay and they decorated beautifully for Christmas. Location was great and very close to our accommodations. Wait staff was phenomenal. Everyone was friendly and just wonderful. I almost hate to say this but I was disappointed in the food. Maybe we didn’t order correctly. Got the calamari, crab cake sandwich, and shrimp skewers kids meal. Calamari had no flavor by itself. I thought the banana pepper hot sauce was very good though. My crab cake sandwich had a weird flavor. No old bay or usual crab cake flavors. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t my favorite. French fries however were very good. I am a little sad that we didn’t enjoy the food more considering how great the wait staff was. Would try again and order something different.

I got the Coconut Shrimp for an appetizer and the mahi-mahi sandwich and Key lime pie for dessert. This was THE best meal that I have ever had in the United States of America. I could not be happier with the foods flavor, freshness, and presentation. Each dish was in a level above any that I have anywhere else. If you are in Bonita Springs you MUST get a meal here, absolutely incredible experience.

Our service by waitresses Alicia was friendly wonderful informative i am impressed by how they remember all the specials!!!! It really nice to come to a restaurant where the employees seem happy to be there and serve. Well done management. Every staff member that brought us food carried the same warm attitude. Relaxing environment on the water. Our meal was delicious. It is tourist priced but we’d definitely come back. Thank you!

Really enjoyed the outdoor area. Our service was fantastic. We had small children with us and they put us where we were able to let the boys enjoy themselves too. Food was great. We had a birthday person with us and they helped us sing to her. Very enjoyable time.
