This little place has changed owners very recently (1 week, I think they said) so I would suggest you come give it another try if you weren’t impressed enough and give the new owners a chance. I had wings and fries. I thought the wings were quite good and they let me go half and half on my order of 6 wings so I could try different flavors. I had Bourbon and Lemon pepper. The fries, I would not order again and since I didn’t like them or eat them, they graciously didn’t charge me. They have a lovely covered outdoor bar area and a very nice play area for the kids. There is also a room with two pool tables and even a cozy place to sit in front of the fireplace.

Great stop for adults and kids. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Reasonably priced. Kids menu. Not yet, homemade desserts…they said they will slowly be changing it. Handicap accessible! They have a full-service bar. Indoor/outddor seating. There is a swingset for the kids. The portions are generous. I ordered from kids menu, grilled cheese sandwich (had choice of cheese), I asked to add a fried egg for 50¢. $6.50 for this plate.

The food was super good! Had the chicken parm and it was amazing. Great place to stop after a day on the lake. Had a playground for the kids too!

Coconut cove atmosphere is very cozy. We love to come here any day of the week. The waiter is very attentive and friendly. Prices are reasonable for a tourist area. Our favorite items to order are catfish, grilled chicken sandwich, coconut shrimp and fried mushrooms. All taste delicious. The shrimp is accompanied by a mango salsa that is good, I’d prefer the sweeter version that is like an orange marmalade dip. The bar is open to the outside and has heaters . For a person that doesn’t fair well in very cold , it was still too cold to stay, even wearing a winter coat.

If your looking for a place that has small town hospitality and great food done right then look no further. I had originally ordered to go around 7pm but after talking with the owners and staff I ended up staying till close and what was to be a quiet evening to myself became one of the most fun nights filled with good conversation I’ve had in awhile. It’s rare to find such a customer focused business and it completely cought me off guard. Thank you Coconut Cove for understanding what it takes to make your customers feel appreciated and valued. I will definitely be back.
