Tonight’s dining experience was truly extraordinary. From the moment I entered, the warm, rose-gold ambiance fostered a welcoming, upscale, yet cozy environment that immediately made me feel special. The service was exceptionally attentive, professional, and genuinely joyful, making me feel appreciated and cared for throughout the evening.
Each dish was a feast for the eyes and palate, bursting with rich, bold flavors. The lightly smoked Atlantic salmon lollipops were a delicate highlight—fresh and perfectly balanced. Trying escargot for the first time was an exciting adventure, and it did not disappoint—rich, buttery, and satisfying. From the moment we walked into Cocody Restaurant, we felt like family. The manager Greggory went above and beyond, and the owner Mrs. Edith has truly created a place that feels like home. The welcome was genuine, warm, and full of love.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were wonderful—every bite and sip was perfection. What truly touched my heart was how they made my mom’s birthday so special. The attention, care, and kindness shown to us meant more than words can say.

Great vibes and ambience. Delicious food and cocktails, hardworking and friendly waiters. We were out to celebrate a beautiful Sister and Cocody was definitely the perfect spot for a private, intimate and classy get together. They don’t allow outside professional photographers, plan accordingly.

I don’t understand how these places stay in business. The only positive thing about it is the atmosphere – for those who like upscale restaurants and taking pictures.
First and foremost: completely overpriced place for what you will get here.
The food is just sad. Small food menu with relatively boring choices: basically just fish, burger or steak. Probably 100 other restaurants in Houston have exactly the same menu. I will give credit where credit is due – presentation was nice. But the taste – disappointing. My steak came overcooked. And offering me to “redo” it is not an option – i’m not waiting another 30min for you to fix a simple request for this price tag. The texture of the blue waffle (??) was way too hard and not enjoyable.
The cocktails were a joke. ~20++ per cocktail and the presentation was borderline dive bar level. Poor garnish. Cheap glasses.
The service was extremely slow and not attentive. We waited 25min to get our check and pay.

Upscale fancy restaurant located in West Gray Downtown. Beautiful modern atmosphere! Nice service but on a slower pace. Food presentation was great. We ordered 6 different appetizers they are small portions and some are excellent and some are just so-so. I specifically love the sea bass and lamb chop. Had a great time there but they are pricey.

Service Got a bit slower as the restaurant got more packed but that’s to be expected. Elegant restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere and ambiance. Great date night spot . 5 star all the way .

I was skeptical coming here since it wasn’t very busy for a Friday. After dining here I’m beyond surprised it wasn’t more crowded. This restaurant is really awesome. Phenomenal service. Sebastian was an amazing waiter with the best recommendations. The sommelier also gave great recommendations and even brought us a complimentary sample of wine. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is so fun and beautiful! The dessert was INSANELY GOOD!!! Definitely one of the best dining experiences ever. We will be sending all of our friends here and returning for regular date nights. We spent a lot but definitely could’ve cut back and had a much more affordable date night for those not wanting to spend a lot but have a great fancy dinner.

I cannot say good enough things about Cocody. I believe they have some of the best food in Houston! Something as simple as the cheeseburger is the best cheeseburger I have EVER had, cooked to perfection. My favorite dish is the Moulard duck and the lamb chops are a close second (and the potatoes are life-changing). The “lolly’s” are the perfect starter and very fun! Very nice patio seating and the inside is gorgeous. The owners AND the chef even came by to check in on us and they are so lovely. Also – they have an awesome happy hour – Roger & Mikey were such great bartenders, I even asked for a custom martini and it was amazing!
I am a chocolate lover so I was recommend the “Valrhona Chocolate Royal” to end the night and it was quite literally the most incredible molten chocolate cake I have ever had. I will be back many, many times!

Great service initially and then I think the server got to busy – it took us some time to get order and get the check. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful! Would definitely go back again (hopefully for a happy hour or something)

Wowwwww I don’t think I have ever experienced this type of service! Everyone was so nice and very knowledgeable. Not to mention this place is decorated beautifully, I just came back from France and it feels like I’m back already the food was amazing and came out very quickly the mocktails were delicious, we actually put them together and my goodness I would buy pitchers of it! We seen a chef come out and great a table while they were all speaking French it felt like home I cannot stress enough how great the service was! We had lollipops, baguettes, deviled eggs, chicken, steak, the brownie and the tarte, everything was delicious 10/10
