We absolutely loved our sweetheart cake from The Cocoa Bean in Geneva! The team was wonderful to work with, and the cake itself turned out beautifully — both gorgeous and delicious. It was the perfect centerpiece for our special day, and we couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. The only hiccup was that when we went to pick up our cake on the wedding day, it wasn’t quite ready yet, and we had to wait about 45 minutes, which required a slight adjustment to our schedule. Even with that small delay, we would still highly recommend The Cocoa Bean to anyone looking for a stunning and tasty wedding cake!

The Cocoa Bean holds a special place in my heart. When I was in culinary school, I did a stage at the Cocoa Bean, and it was one of the most pivotal experiences of my career.

The pastries and cakes are phenomenal.
Service is always great.

The Cocoa Bean is a must visit the next time you’re in Geneva.

Cocoa Bean has always been my absolute favorite bakery! Their pastries are exceptional as well as their quiches that are so delicious! I love to give a box of
their beautiful pastries as a special gift.
They make wonderful Holiday boxes of cookies as well, for every season. I always buy a box of cookies to treat myself every holiday since I have no time to bake!
It’s a great place to relax and indulge

Got a few desserts to try. The fruit tart was horrible. It was eggy beyond belief. That eggy taste was nauseating. Chocolate tart was ok but too sweet and so dense. Mouse was mediocre at best. Cheesecake was nice but the chocolate bit of the cheesecake was overall sweet. It wasn’t good. Everything was too sweet and too dense, there wasn’t any lightness you associate with patisserie. It’s a shame, we had high hopes. Staff are great though!

This is my favorite bakery in the area. It’s a hidden gem with gluten free options and the most beautiful dessert presentation. The flavors are creative and seasonal menus add fun and creative flavors. They cater too! Your guests will be impressed. The Madeline cake is a must. They offer small individual works of art with amazing flavor. The quiche is some of the best in the area. They offer brunch packages as well as individual I recommend calling ahead on busy weekends or holiday for pick up!

Fine desserts and tasty treats for pretty much everyone. Never been here before and wanted to surprise my girlfriend. We had the lemon mairange tart, cream brule, and raspberry white chocolate cup.

Highly recommend this place for their dessert and pastries!

I decided to meet my mom at Cocoa Bean to celebrate her Birthday. The place is very warm and inviting . They offer a nice selection of beautiful hand crafted pastries and also have lunch specials. I had the chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and a cappuccino and my mom had the passion fruit cake with a hot chocolate . Everything was so delish! The staff was super friendly, even taken her time to tell me what each dessert was. Highly recommend if in the area to stop in.

I got the raspberry chocolate individual cake, which has been my favourite for many years and a chocolate croissant. It was made to order. Unfortunately the center raspberry filling and surrounding mousse was rock solid. I couldn’t get my fork through it and after it thawed a little still had an icy taste to it. Not sure what went wrong but in the past it has been my favourite dessert. The chocolate croissant has great flavour and first bite. Workers are helpful and kind and I saw the chef come out to personally answer some questions about the desserts.

My husband ordered a white 6″ birthday cake for me with chocolate frosting and chocolate raspberry mouse filling. He went to pick up it up at 8:45am (suppose to be ready at 9 on a Sunday) but was told him it was not ready. That was okay, but kind of surprising. He got a call shortly after and was shown a white cake with white frosting and a raspberry filling. Not what he ordered but too late to argue. He put the cake into the fridge until an hour before serving. When we sliced the cake it just fell apart. The icing cracked and tumbled down on the plate and sides of the icing separated from the cake. The cake just crumbled apart. It was a bit embarrassing to serve a jumble of cake and icing to my guests. At the center, the filling was frozen. It must have been in the freezer? A bit strange for a cake that wasn’t ready to be picked up. This has never been my experience before with Cocoa Bean. Their cakes are expensive. I was really disappointed.

We enjoy the mini-quiches as a treat for breakfasts on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Just right as single servings. As vegetarians, we love the leek and Gruyere quiche; my dad loved the ham and Swiss. Creamy, moist, and delicious, even heated the next day.

For holidays, order early; pay in advance; and arrive at a pre-set time for pick-up.
