Ordered on doordash and didnt know what to expect at all! Wow was I pleasantly surprised!!!? Such a good deal! I got the sampler with more rice than salad which is my only regret because the ginger dressing with the salad oh em gee amazing knocked it out the park! The salad & ginger dressing is amazing, don’t even get me started on the shrimp. I got the garlic butter, spicy, and coco sweet & spicy combination & oh my gosh it’s everything. The coco shrimp sweet and spicy is spectacular. The perfect crunch and perfect flavor. So amazing! This place is seriously underrated because how have I never tried it until now! ( didn’t take a pic until it was almost all gone but it was heavenly 100/10 recommend especially if you’re trying to be healthier this year

This place was great. Great name, great food (especially the food), great variety of teas and great prices. Today was my first time visiting and I enjoyed everything. Maria came by and introduced herself to us and checked how everything was tasting. The hibiscus tea was so refreshing. I had the sampler plate for $12.95. It was delicious. The vibes were awesome. I felt like I was next to the beach and just walked up to have lunch. I can’t believe a place like this exists! Definitely going back. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get.

everything is great except the food is mid. dont get the appeal. basically for about $11 you get six shrimp, rice and a salad. honestly im not seeing the value or flavor proposition. a burger combo is worth it bc I know if I make a burger at home grease will be flying everywhere and it saves me cleanup but steamed rice and grilled shrimp is as simple and meds free as it gets. as far as flavor, the shrimp is either soaked in weird sauces or it just tastes like butter. the only one worth getting is probably the original coco shrimp. the other flavors were underwhelming – butter or just soaked in fifty different weird sauces. have no idea what the sweet and sour and cilantro lime sauces are for. rice is also soaked in butter unless you specify otherwise. the salad is as haole as it gets bc I doubt hawaiians are eating cranberries. overall it very much reminds me of that song lyric “paved paradise and put up a parking lot.” except here they visited hawaii and promptly commercialized the culture.

Coco Shrimp – Richardson branch has completely blown me away! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and that was thanks in large part to Ms. Moria, the incredible branch manager. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for every guest made the experience unforgettable. You can clearly see how much love and effort she puts into making this place run so smoothly—she truly deserves all the praise!
I ordered the butter garlic shrimp and the grilled pineapples, and I can honestly say they were some of the best dishes I’ve eaten in a very long time. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor, while the grilled pineapples added just the right touch of sweetness and freshness. Every bite was a delight.
I left with a full heart and a happy stomach, and I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re anywhere near Richardson, do yourself a favor and visit Coco Shrimp—you’ll thank me later!

This is my second experience with Coco Shrimp. It will not be my last!! The first time I dined in and the staff was incredible. Very attentive from the moment I walked in the door. The food was amazing. This time, I ordered online for pick up in Richardson. Food was ready when I got there and once again the staff immediately welcomed me and asked to help and once again the food was amazing. If you are a shrimp lover, it doesn’t get any better!!

Loved everything about it. It was our first time here so they recommended the sampler to try out different flavors. We got the sweet and spicy, coconut, and garlic butter. Of the 3, sweet and spicy was my favorite but all were delicious. The poppy seed dressing for the salad was really good as well. The staff was extremely friendly and restaurant was clean. The portion sizes were great. We will be back

This place is a hidden gem! The food is so yummy, fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The service is super fast, whether dining in or going in drive thru. The staff is always friendly and welcoming so whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or craving something delicious for dinner, Coco Shrimp never disappoints. Got the butter garlic with the lemon poppy seed and ginger dressings! I really loved the lemon dressing more while the ginger one tasted more like tomato.
It came with 6 large shrimp with the tails still on, strongly seasoned with a healthy portion of rice underneath along with a small side salad.
My first time trying and I think it was a success. I’d try their other shrimp flavors too!

Absolutely loved this place!! Angie greeted us with a beautiful smile and attitude! She walked us through the menu with confidence and shared her favorites with us. My husband got the spicy shrimp with rice and salad and the calantro lime dressing and I got the sampler with the sweet and spicy, spicy, and garlic herb and with salad and rice and calantro lime dressing all at Angie’s recommendation and it was AMAZING!! So Flavorful and delicious!! The spicy was perfectly blended and so good. It was a great laid back restaurant with a great staff. Very clean! Loved the decor and atmosphere. Highly recommend for a nice night out. Thank you Angie for the great recommendations and experience! We will be back for the tacos.
