recently visited Coco Choco Bakery hoping to see improvement in customer service since my last visit nearly a year ago. Unfortunately, the service was still disappointing and, in my experience, even less welcoming than before. The staff were not friendly, which significantly affected the overall experience.

I specifically went for Peruvian-style Pan Francés and tamales. The bread was very good , fresh, with great texture and flavor. No complaints about the quality of the Pan Francés. The tamales were also delicious; however, I was informed they are not made in-house but sourced from another vendor, so I cannot fully credit the bakery for that item.

The products show strong potential, but customer service plays a major role in any establishment’s success. If the service improves, this bakery could become a great place to visit. At this time, however, I cannot recommend it based on the overall experience.

Coco Choco Bakery will be my go to bakery for now on. They’re friendly, welcoming, attentive, and accommodating. Best desserts i had in awhile. Tres leches cake is amazing !! Fresh Macaron, very well made decorative cakes and tarts along with many more pasties. The staff friendly, great quality from ice cream, cookies, pies, cakes, cupcakes. i’ve received my birthday cake here once and no complaints.

highly recommend!

Our family is obsessed with this bakery! We order all our celebratory cakes here—our go-to is the tres leches with dulce de leche filling, and it’s always a hit. The service is consistently great, and they’ve even come through for us on rushed orders. Highly recommend!

Customer service was actually disappointing. Had a family member place a pick up order under their name and when asked for the order pick up, employee says there are none under that name and to provide what was ordered. Waiting for my family member to answer what she had ordered, employee keep saying there is no one under that name. Then magically find the name with the order after 30 mins of waiting. And mid conversation end up taking another client’s order and then ignoring. In addition, they do card sub charge regardless debit or credit, keep an eye during check out…

The bakery that I have bought challah bread closed. The challah bread at the supermarket is like eating cardboard. They do not get the sweetness right. The challah bread at Coco Choco is very tasty, that is when you can get it. It is hit or miss. So I call now to make sure they have them to save me a trip. I called today, the person answering the phone checked with the baker and told me to come after 3:30pm. I arrived at 4pm. No challah and was told to come back in an hour. Really? The person at the counter was apologetic and courteous, but I wasted my time. If I decide to go back, I will call and make sure they have an ample supply.

The owners are all hard working people. The girls up front are absolute dolls. I can’t say enough good things about them. They are very nice to everyone. The pastries and cakes are outstanding.

Wonderful bakery where delicious pastries, cakes, ice cream cones and cups, sorbets, seasonal baked items (such as the pictured Easter breads) and empanadas (at times) are prepared and sold with a friendly demeanor. I believe the store has been in operation for 10 years now. We love it.

A small bakery in Whitve Plains. I tried two different Tres Leches Cakes which were really good. Additionally I tired the chicken empanada. The empanada is huge in size and it was the first time I saw an empanada have an egg and olive inside it. The empenada was really good.

I’ve visited this bakery many times and made several purchases, but the woman who works there is consistently rude and clearly dislikes her job. I’m honestly surprised she’s still employed there. I won’t be returning as long as she continues to work at this location.

She argued with me and simply said: “You don’t have to come here again” Very disappointed with whoever runs this business that keep people like her there.

Got my brothers wedding cake from coco choco bakery! I am peruvian so I thought getting a Peruvian cake would be excellent. We spoke to the owner personally on how we wanted the cake. She even lowered the price of the cake to negotiate with us. She also gave us a big piece of cake to taste. We ordered the bottom 2 tiers peruvian tres leches & the top dulce de leche. The tres leches was so yummy! Everyone at the wedding was fighting to get another piece! We did have a little trouble with the delivery but I’m letting it slide since the cake itself did come out beautifully and the delivery services aren’t done by the bakery it self. This is my new favorite peruvian bakery!! Finally I found an authentic peruvian bakery
