Honestly the best thing was the server. She was very nice and tentative. Food was mediocre. The steak was nice quality but the flavors were barely there. The ceviche fish and shrimp was not good. Personally I liked the polsole soup, the meat was tender except the beans were overcooked. The best thing they had was the free chips and salsa. Random but the bathroom was very clean.

Had a really good meal tonight the chicken tortilla had a kick to it and was made to the perfect creaminess. We enjoyed our visit. Hubby loved ceviche my chicken salad was healthy tasting with a lot of flavor.

Delicious food, nice portions.
The weekday lunch specials are totally worth it.
My favorite is the protein bowl; it’s well balanced with meat, rice and beans and most importantly, greens!
Seriously, if you’re around during lunch special (11 to 3, I believe), check them out!

Nice environment, you can sit indoor or outdoor! Friendly and fast service! Great food!!! Free chips and salsa!

We ordered their “Surf and Turf” and Steak Burrito! At first, the steak was a bit overcooked “Surf and Turf” but the server helped us to change it right away! 5 stars for their service!!! And the second time, it was cooked perfectly! Their burrito was great!!!

Visited the first time yesterday. The staff were response and pleasant. Happy Hour is from 3 to 5pm, with nice portion size. I ordered the coconut shrimp (8) and Diablo wings (10) with a chicken quesadilla (10 slices), drink frozen margarita house drink $5 = full meal. The food was fresh and tasty, restaurant clean and spacious b/t seating. This spot has bar space too! Nice chic restaurant/bar.

Pulled in on a whim, and our whole family was wowed. Great place, with a clean and fresh vibe. The bar has a great selection of tequila and other spirits, and they made a great margarita with a fruit puree rim. We arrived at the tail end of brunch, but the staff accommodated getting us some flautas early.

The brunch was great and the whole family enjoyed the food, and the staff was so friendly. We took the pineapple upside-down cake to go and it was great with our coffee later in the afternoon. Great food and great leftovers :).

With indoor and outdoor seating, this is a great Mexican restaraunt to visit for a bite to eat. I went at noon, and service was friendly and prompt. We had drinks out to us nice and quick, along with terrific homemade chips and salsa.

I had the chicken nachos and the brunch quesadilla. The nachos were great, lots of black beans, onion, tomato and cheese. The chicken was cooked perfectly, I could only ask for smaller chopped pieces to spread over more chips next time.

The quesadilla was perfectly cooked, flakey and had a good mix of meat and eggs. it comes with a lighter hollandaise sauce for dipping, which makes it a great treat for breakfast or brunch.

All in all, I would recommend you definitely stop by and try it out. They have a great selection of drinks as well, for the alcohol- inclined.

This place is legit. We moved here a few months ago from Tucson, AZ and have sampled most of the local Mexican restaurants now. This is the first one worth writing home about.

Very similar to the Sonoran style restaurants in AZ. I had the big puna plate and my wife had the daily special, a seafood pasta dish. Everything was on point, the carne asada was tender and bursting with flavor, the carnitas were well seasoned and moist (not a fan of dried out carnitas), and the chili relleno was full of cheesy goodness with a slightly fluffy but evenly fried batter (it was reminiscent of funnel cake, which seems an unusual comparison for me to draw, but I don’t want to put anyone off, it carried a delicately balanced flavor profile and I could cut it with a fork).

The drink menu was fairly extensive, so if you want tequila, beer or wine for a more traditional pairing that is an option. We chose from the more tropical portion of the menu. My wife had the ‘road to Pahoa’ and I had the ubecolada. The road to Pahoa was a rather strong blend of tropical fruit juices and rum. The ubecolada was essentially a Pina colada with ube (purple sweet potato) added. I didn’t pick up on the ube flavor, but it did give it a beautiful color and I did have a second one, so it was amazing.

Anyway, I’m running long, but it was a friendly atmosphere, chips and salsa provided before the meal, reasonably priced, and a healthy selection of seafood options, overall a great experience! Highly recommend.

Great food that’s reasonably priced. Service was spot on. And they have both indoor (air conditioned) and outside seating! They also serve the only true “Grande” Margarita on the entire island (38oz).
