Highly recommend for dinner at Apollo bay. Friend and I visiting from Sydney. Service was so lovely and accomodating. Food was really delicious and tasty. We appreciated their creative menu. We ordered the corn fritters, mussels and chicken curry. Everything we ordered tasted amazing and cooked really well. And we got to eat it sitting by a wonderful view of Apollo beach. Would highly recommend!!

We recently travelled over 600km from Adelaide to Melbourne to visit our relatives, and one of the highlights of our journey was discovering Coco Cafe & Restaurant in Apollo Bay. The hospitality here is truly exceptional — warm, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we walked in.

The best restaurant along the beach! Very warm vibe and great food! I love the seafood stew so much and that’s the best seafood stew I’ve had ever! The chocolate lava cake with the ice cream is a so so perfect match! Can’t believe there’s so great and high-level restaurant in this little town!

A wonderful dining experience!! The owner, chef, and staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially towards children. In addition to excellent coffee, they also offer freshly squeezed juices. The food was delicious, particularly their homemade jam!! MUST TRY — Kid enjoyed it so much that everyone forgot to take a photo! It was so good that I even took a business card, hoping to order it online in the future

Wow! I would have given 10 stars if I could! The fusion of French and Balinese cuisine is absolutely incredible. The view and ambience are fantastic, and you can truly taste the passion and love in every dish. I’ll definitely be back—hopefully next year, as I’m just visiting. Bon appétit!

We chose this restaurant based on the highly positive reviews on Google. We had a family dinner there. My wife inquired about the one food for kids from regular menu, specifically asking if it was non-spicy since we wanted something suitable for our kids. The waiter consulted the chef, who assured us it would be okay. However, the reality was quite different. We requested the food, and the waiter went to ask the kitchen, who informed us that there was chili.
Fortunately, we were able to order from the “Kids menu” and get another dish.
My recommended dish, as pictured, was “okay.” My wife’s dish, “rice with curry,” was more like soup. It was nothing special, and we wouldn’t order it again.
In conclusion, the food here was the worst we’ve had in Melbourne, Australia. I’m comparing it to other restaurants in the same price range. Perhaps it was just a bad day, or maybe because we arrived before 9 PM.
The view and location are amazing, and the staff is polite. However, the food was simply not up to par, so I can’t give it 5 stars today.

This is the first time we visit Apollo bay and we are so glad to dine in Coco cafe. The food here was great, we tasted a variety of dishes, as the appetizers here are served in small portions. Our favorite is the seafood soup, which is intensely flavorful and delicious. Meanwhile, the duck legs also serve as an excellent main course, particularly in terms of how the duck skin is treated. Unfortunately, we could only stay for one day on this road trip. I hope we can visit again next time.

We came early for lunch menu, but the staff here was really nice to offer them (my wife was feeling under the weather and desperately wanted a hot soup!)
The food was absolutely stunning and really did help my wife recover!
They also maxe a hot lemon tea with ginger and honey thinking of her health.
