Food was okay.
Some items had a great flavor but some seemed bland.
Lots of space for parties.
Had a band strange and pool tables.
They do have an open bar available.
Prices were VERY high for the area and portions.
Ended up being $100 for 3 people, each with a $20-25 plate, a cheese dip and drinks.

When I first walked in, The restaurant was empty, but do not be fooled we were happily greeted by the hostess. she made us feel at home and quickly seated us. We were given chips and salsa and the food arrived in a timely manner. Being hispanic, I can vouch for this place. Will definitely be coming back in the future

I ordered carne asada fries. They were advertised to come with sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo. The sour cream, guacamole, pico de Gallo is missing from my fries.

Prices are ridiculous, street tacos $3.50 chicken or beef or $3.75 specialty, doubled tortillas were stuck together, my husband got a burger and it was plain, fries were soaked in oil from being fried more than once, waitress try to take my plate while i was still eating, we were the only customers, will never be back

My family and I went to Coco Bongo last Tuesday evening for the first time for Taco Tuesday. The food was AMAZING. they have street tacos on their taco Tuesday specials as well as regular crunchy tacos. They have expanded and have pool tables on the back side. Our service was excellent and Bryan or server was wonderful and attentive. Will definitely be back.

I went to Coco Bongo for lunch today and had a great experience. I ordered a molcajete and a horchata, everything was absolutely delicious! The food tasted homemade and well prepared, and the service was super friendly and attentive. I also loved the atmosphere calm, pleasant, and perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Coco Bongo Mexican Restaurant
We just finished eating at COCO BONGO Mexican restaurant on Albert Pike in the area beside the Revenue Office…Near Walmart.
Two couples of us used to spend the winters in south Texas where we experienced fantastic Mexican food. The food at Coco Bongo is as good, if not better, than in south Texas. I had not noticed the sign for it until I visited the Revenue office this past week.
The building has been remodeled. It is immaculately clean, the atmosphere is so nice and comfortable and the food is wonderful. Everything was fresh and tasty. The waiter is a friendly, kind person. We enjoyed talking to him. They have taco Tuesday and bands later in the evenings if you are interested.
They are by far the best in town! I’d give it a 5.0.
