We finally made it here tonight for dinner and we are so happy that we did. We love Caribbean food so we had to come visit.

The space is on the smaller side, not a lot of tables. Loved the decor. They have decent size bar which was nice. We were greeted and seated right away.

Started with rum punches , freshly prepared and my god were they good.

For apps we had with the jerk dry rub wings. So tasty!! I am a bit of a wing snob and these were good. Would def recommend blue cheese vs ranch as dipping sauce but that’s just me

For dinner we had the jerk chicken and pernil. Love that they have different rice options, white, rice with peas and Moro. Jerk chicken was flavorful. Spicy! Pernil was good. Tender. I enjoyed it.

To finish it off we had the in-house Dominican tres leches cake. Amazing so so good.

We did also order a beef pattyto try but had to bring that home, was so full! Can’t wait to try it tho.

Would highly recommend going. They also offered happy hour specials which was great. Vibes were definitely Caribbean and we were loving it.

The tea party was beautiful and elegant. The conversation was lovely as well. It was an afternoon of endless snacks and delicious, unique teas. The hostess was wonderful and very inviting. I loved her festive attire as well. 10/10!

This spot is a gem! The drink menu is fantastic, the food is delicious with plenty of variety, and everything tastes truly homemade. The vibe is classy but laid back, and the prices are super reasonable for the quality. Music was great. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!!

A secret gem! Id you live on the area or you need to stop for gas, do co sodee giving youeself tome foe lunch or dinner. We fell upon this restaurant am
And loved every dish we got. The pastelitos (empanadas )and tostonos were some of rhe best, we’ve ever had. Also the sauce over the pastelitos and hanger steak was in an extremely fresh ssuce with garlic, cilantro and parsley.

We arrived extremely late on a Friday evening but they were extremely accomodating and did not rush us. There were also alot of tropical drinks and unusual sounding salads which we will need to try next time.

Thank you, this was a great stop on our way upstate!

I live in eastern Putnam county and am always looking for central meeting places to have dinner with friends who live closer to the Hudson River. By chance I happened to stumble across this gem and am so glad I did. Very unassuming but, as soon as you walk in, the vibe is warm and the staff is incredibly friendly. It was quiet for a Thursday night, but the atmosphere still felt cozy enough to catch up with an old friend.

The menu is reasonably priced and the food is fresh. I had a margarita, beef patty to start and the pernil with rice and beans. The plates were rich, filling and full of flavor. The drink was well mixed and if I didn’t have to drive, I would probably have a couple more rounds!

Ingrid was super friendly and attentive while also minding our space and giving my friend and I time to enjoy our company and the meal. Overall, I’m very pleased with my experience and I look forward to returning with more people next time.

Great new place, happy hour hours until 9pm with changing daily specials. I got jerk chicken, wife got stewed chicken, both were fantastic. Highly recommend and hope this place sticks around. Thinking it’s going to be our regular place to get drinks after work. Reasonably priced and each cocktail we got was sizable and delicious. Don’t sleep on the place.

What a gem, right here in the Hudson Valley. I went there for afternoon tea with some friends, and left with a bag of delicious food for dinner.
Highly recommend!!

FYI: This review is coming from a person who hates wasting money on anything that lacks value, especially food. Probably bc of the whole Hippocrates thing.

Waited for a year to get a bite to eat here and regret not coming sooner. This place is cleanly and inviting bc of the service and with the updating they did to the “ambiance.”

Long story short, this place is pumping out delicious Dominican and Jamaican staples.

We had the Arroz con gandules, Chicharrón de pollo y tostones, which came with a chimichurri sauce. The Chimichurri Sandwich, with homemade thin cut rosemary fries that reminded me of how my abuelita would make them . The Mac’n Cheese pie with oxtail sauce is “chef’s kiss” . And for me, the star of the meal were the Beef Patties. The HOMEMADE BEEF PATTIES… Which are by far the best Jamaican Beef Patties I’ve ever had. This from a kid that hung out with Jamaicans that made them fresh and also brought me to their favorite spots to get them. These have a light curry type flavor that’s complimented by a warm spice that goes well with the meat sauce and dough… Another .

The drinks? Well the water tastes great, maybe filtered but gave me spring water vibes. I mention this bc if you have experience around the area, some places give you water that tastes like recycled pool water served from a garden hose.

We tried the Soursop aka Guanabana Colada, the Tamarindo Cola and The Espresso Martini…. All of which were smooth and absolutely delicious. They said the Guanabana y Tamarindo syrups are made in house and they definitely taste like it. Both of which taste fresh with the nuance of homemade product. None of the drinks were overly sweet or tasted of JP-8.

_Bottom line_ This is hands down the #1 slept on restaurant in the area right now. The food and drinks are delicious. So I suggest that anyone that read this whole review go and support this local business bc I’d hate to have to drive over an hour to get good Caribbean food and drinks bc you missed out on the deliciousness of Coco Bella.

My husband and I picked up our order at the opening time, anticipating somewhat freshly prepared food, but the meal we received appeared to be 2-3 days old. The quality of the food and the taste are very poor. At this point, I am really hoping that my husband and I do not get food poisoning from consuming the two bites of red meat. Attached is a photograph of the fried chicken included in the platter.

This is such a hidden gem! The decor is beautiful, the music is quiet enough to talk, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is fresh and delicious. I don’t usually like tostones, but theirs are amazing. Our favorite dish is the pollo guissado, and my son says their virgin pina colada is one of the best he’s ever had.

Note: The menu is very meat-heavy, so not a great option for vegetarians/vegans. Though they do have some delicious salads and surprisingly flavorful steamed vegetables.
