We love this little beach cafe! We walked down the beach from our condo and happened upon a Bloody Mary special which my husband greatly enjoyed. I had the best NA Mangonada and we both ordered pancake breakfasts that were really yummy. They have a great, laid back atmosphere. We received attentive service from the very friendly bartender. Coco Beach Club is one of our favs!

We love this place! We’ve been going here for over 35 years, it was the surf motel back then and we always make this one of our go to spots. They have a nice beach access sidewalk to make it easier to get down to the beach with all your stuff. They have a couple volleyball courts up by the deck and a small pool that you can drop your kids in when you’re done at the beach and want to relax and have a few drinks before ending your day.

Beach volleyball is fun! They have the balls, the nets and the sand. You bring yourself and your skill. Bartender is excellent. Catch the live music. Great comfort food. George is fantastic !! Love their frozen margaritas

Great place with a beautiful view. Was able to do work on the beach— outlets available outside by the tables. Food was great. I HIGHLY recommend the loaded beef nachos!! Would come back just for that! They also had a taco Tuesday special that we took advantage of.

Okay.. 2 star hotel for a reason and they lived up to there 2 stars quality..lol So Coco beach hotel is for individuals who aren’t peculiar about fancy things like clean walls,painting,and updated fixtures. The rooms could be also upgraded with new fixtures but they are comfortable. We checked in Tuesday in which early check in was available for extra $50. Tuesday-Friday was our staying time..Wednesday we thought our room would’ve been taken care of by housekeepers but we were wrong. I had to pressure the lady to change sheets n clean towels. The beach bar is what your stay is about it’s definitely a good location on beach, awesome view of beach setting, and a great Vibe!! The drinks were good the food was good and the music was good. Live DJ on Thursday. Also beach volleyball available. The atmosphere of positive energy and vibrations is what this little cozy beach hotel brings. I would book again because of that fact.

Friendliest place on South Padre! Shane was an incredibly attentive bartender, and the seafood was delicious. Happy Hour deals were great – $2-3 beers almost all day long! Will definitely be coming back for the live music and great vibes soon.

We enjoyed our stay there. Chris and all of the staff were friendly,nice and polite. Chris hooked us up with a nice room. We were able to see the beach from our room. My wife and I went to south Padre island for our wedding anniversary. Even if you don’t get a room with a view of the beach that is ok because you will be on the beach in less than one minute or you can enjoy some music and have some drinks at the bar facing the beach and talking in that cool breeze. I do recommend Coco Beach and take the family. Thanks Chris from my wife and I. We hope to visit again next month for my birthday. (Patrick)
