My sister and I came around 2PM, the vibe was so lovely, calm and simple.
I got the chicken pho and my sister got a mango smoothie, chicken was a bit dry but it was breast meat so no harm no fowl~
Came back around~ 5PM much busier, very lively. This time got the seasonal mint hot chocolate. Could use more milk flavor/powder but the chocolate mint flavor~ delicious~♡
Place is new to me but certainly a place worth watching grow
I got the beef pho combo, summer rolls, and a lychee-peach oolong tea.
The pho was good. I consider myself a bit of a pho expert, so I pay attention to pho really close. This leaned toward good ingredients. I was hoping for tripe when ordering the beef pho combo, but it didn’t come with any. The broth was light and simple, not heavy, and you could clearly taste the broth (not watered down) , meats, and veggies aka classic pho profile.
The summer rolls were okay. They were fresh but could’ve used a bit more meat for the price. Thankfully, the dipping sauce made up for it.
The boba tea was tasty, and both the portion size and price felt just right.
Overall, the restaurant has a relaxed, chill atmosphere. I saw plenty of people enjoying their time. Whether you’re in the mood for snacks, a full meal, or just a drink, this place has something for you.
The boba cups do need longer straws (it falls into the cup) but the creme brulee milk tea flavor was good, except the pile of sugar at the bottom of the cup.
The garlic noodles were also good but $17 for the small bowl pictured. I’d have no problem with the price if the portion was double what it is.
We got the beef pho, vegetarian spring rolls, and tofu banh mi. The beef pho wasn’t very flavorful. It was fine but it wasn’t interesting at all. The vegetarian spring rolls are good. The tofu banh mi wasn’t very flavorful disappointing.
We also had the matcha strawberry latte which was boring and not sweet enough even with the pile of strawberry in the bottom and the ube latte which wasn’t sweet at all as had an odd flavor.
Overall, pretty disappointing experience. Not worth the cost.
Noah was beyond helpful and very very knowledgeable about the food and drinks.
He pointed me in the right direction!
Again didn’t order much. Two drinks, garlic noodles and the vegetable sandwich.
So not much to review but definitely enjoyed the small order. Four stars because we need more noodles in our garlic bowl for that price!
The wings were okay but could have definitely added a little more seasoning. The sauce Spicy Mayo was so good on the wings. I would order the sauce alone. The Pork Buns were good with the sauce even though the meat was fatty but overall, the buns were good.
I had the Mango Tea with mango pieces in the bottom; it was a good refreshing drink.
There were about 7-10 orders ahead of us, but all of our foods came out pretty quickly and they were nice and freshly cooked.
Mr. Calvin (one of the owners of the restaurant) was very awesome and kind. All the other workers were awesome, too.
The honey soy garlic wings from here has to be the best soy garlic wings we’ve ever had! Reminded us of fried chicken from South Korea.
Love the details of how they plate each dishes too, especially the cabbage pillow and chopped green onions and herbs with the wings!
We are so happy to have found this restaurant in Waldorf.
We are used to traveling 45+ mins to get good Asian food and now we can just come here.
