Brought a friend here to have lunch. Not busy. Friendly guy at the counter. Food came out pretty quick. I had the spicy chicken sammy with jalapeño coleslaw…delicious as always. My friend had the catfish plate with slaw & fries. 3 days later and he is still talking about how good that fish was. Thanks Cocky’s…we will be back.

Yall. This place is so good the staff is always friendly, the food is always cook to order and hot ontop of being delicious. I used to just get the loaded buffalo fries but recently tried thier chicken sandwhich combo and that thang was not only huge is was juicy saucy spicy, i couldnt put it down, i dont know if the pickles are made in house but they are spicy and delicious. Definitely try it the kids meals are huge my 7 year old couldnt finish the fries. Yall have to try this place because they dont get nearly the business they should

I had the pulled chicken tacos and a fish taco since it was $3 Taco Tuesday. Honestly, not impressed at all. Very bland flavors on all. Maybe tacos is not their strong suit. Mac & cheese was ok. Next time I’ll try the wings, those looked good on another table.

The chicken batter could use some spices, but the chicken sandwich and tenders were still enjoyable. The sauces to dip them in were nice. The fries were perfect shoestring fries. The Mexican corn was boiled too long but the elote flavors were good enough to allow overlooking the boiled corn. The portions were quite large. The lady at the counter was amazingly nice and friendly. She paid attention to detail and made sure everything was good. There were not many people there when we went so it was pretty enjoyable to dine in. Food came quickly and plenty of seating.

Looking for a fast & quality southern style chicken centered meal? then stop by and try this place out. I had the chicken sandwich meal with mashed potatoes and gravy, and it was bomb! filling and super flavorful. My wife had the chicken strips meal with fries and fried okra. I stole a bite of the okra and wound up eating half of the basket haha. it’s got a light tempura style batter rather than a traditional corn meal based batter. The staff for friendly and polite. Overall it’s a great spot for lunch and we’ll be back.

Decent food. Catfish, hushpuppies and fries were all pretty good. Coleslaw was alright, but could have used a smidge more vinegar. Fantastic portion sizes. However, it was uncomfortable listening to the girl working trying to proselytize to two men at the bar counter for a long time while we were waiting for our food.

First time experience, I had to run through the drive through, which was fine but they were that busy that there was nowhere to park. The girl at the window was great, very friendly and helpful. I tried the 3 chicken strips with fries, biscuit and Mexican corn on the cob. The corn was absolutely delicious. Very hot, juicy and flavorful even after driving back. The chicken was good quality breast meat. I actually prefer dark meat but I knew what I was getting. Honestly I didn’t enjoy the flavor at all. It was also very dry on the outside. But the seasoning reminded me of a beef hotdog. Which I don’t mind at all if I’m eating a hot dog. The biscuit was pretty good, not too dry and full of flavor. The fries didn’t get eaten. Nothing stood out about them. Overall it was okay. Quality food but off on flavor for me, and the roided out chicken mascot wasn’t helping their image. If I had to go back, I would try the fish because I have a feeling their hush puppies are probably pretty good.

The staff is friendly, but the food is horrible. The fried chicken was very greasy, rubbery and smelt like fish. The mashed potatoes were served cold, the corn looked weird, the soda was flat and the fries were soggy. Nothing was fresh, everything seemed like poor quality frozen foods. The wait time was abnormally long and they forgot to pack the biscuit. I literally took a bite or two and threw away 95% of the food, it was that bad.

This place is severely under rated. First off service was fantastic eating in the restaurant. $25ish dollars for chicken sandwich, 12 wings, and 4 beers with the deals they have. That is insane I will be going back and report back on consistency but overall I honestly don’t know anywhere where you get half the food and beer I for the price I paid.
