My wife and I with our family, all went to the Doodle for dinner absolutely fantastic, service, food everything was great… we went that same week for breakfast. It’s now our new “Go to” place. This business has been here since 1957 through everything. One time here I could see why The Doodle is a one of a kind find, great staff, great food, super cool atmosphere

Come here for the steak and eggs! Terry was the best waitress and the dining area was clean, cozy and quiet. Definitely a hidden gem and long standing restaurant for 60 years for a reason! Prime rib available Friday – Sunday, but don’t hurry in too soon because I don’t want it to be crowded

We had very good attentive service. Haven’t been here in years, like over 30 years so. Great homestyle food with great flavor. I had a turkey club and I believe my husband had steak potatoes with a side of biscuits and gravy. Presentation was great on both meals. See photos. I was pleased to be able to substitute the fries for onion rings without an upcharge.
***1/26/25 Today’s visit I had the jumbo shrimp and substituted for vegetables and rolls. The shrimper definitely very huge. Our waitress Yvette was the best we’ve ever had in different level of restaurants. She was very attentive and on top of everything.

Mercedes and the cook made our night! We have eaten breakfast lunch and appetizers. First time ordering dinner- in our party, we ordered fried coconut shrimp(appetizer) prime rib, rib eye and filet mignon. Trimmings of salad, baked potato & soup. Have you ever been to the Doodle? Very casual place, with the BEST service ever and you would think you were at a 5 star restaurant ( well you are) like Flemming’s or Ruth Criss. Oh, did I say… very reasonable too! Thank you Mercedes and Chef!!

The food was great, the staff is great. We were welcome when we came in. Very attentive and so friendly. If I lived closer it would definitely be there more often. It has a feel of places a long time ago, where the customer is valued and you could become one of the ‘family’. This place is one that I would come to by myself. I will be back!

It was a pleasure dining here. I was taken care of by a young lady by the name of Rebecca. She was very pleasant and informative on the menu. I understood they’re celebrating 60 something years in service. When it comes to food I don’t quite understand , because everyone’s pallet is different. To me the food was outstanding but I can only speak for me. I thoroughly enjoyed how homely and quiet it was at the time I went. I had a nice breakfast, cost didn’t break the bank. Price was good for today’s economy.
