I was staying at the hotel next door, and this Mexican restaurant was the only food option within walking distance… Service was good, and prices are decent. The nachos were tasty, large portions, and the brews were cold. They do automatically add 15% gratuity to the bill, which is reasonable. The place gives off “leave the kids at home and come down and get liquor’d up on house made margaritas” vibe. I like it, solid esthetics. I imagine the patio area gets lit on a friday and saturday night. Monday night around 9pm, and place was fairly busy.

We are not from the area and were passing through. We saw on Google that this place was highly rated, so we decided to try them out. First of all, we must have been in a questionable area. We had to be searched before entering the restaurant to ensure we didn’t have any weapons. No problem. Once we entered, there must have been two parties going on. One in the patio and one in a different room. Both playing loud music. Different kind of music, plus the music that was playing in the main dining area. This made it hard to have a conversation during dinner and even communicate with the server. Once we were seated, we were served chips and salsa immediately. The chips were pretty generic. The salsa was not good at all and had a ketchup consistency. Eventually, someone else took our drink and food order. Then, another server tried to take our drink and food order. Staff seemed a little lost. We received our drinks. One strawberry margarita and one Mexican candy mixed drink. They were not good at all. We didn’t finish it. Then we received our food. Chicken burrito and carnitas. We really tried to convince ourselves that it was good, but in reality, there was no flavor at all. We didn’t finish that either. Not sure how they received a high rating, but we would not recommend going here.

The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food is one of the best I’ve ever had. California Burrito is top notch. Also, they have amazing drinks there. The bartenders take passion in making the drinks, which is very hard to come by. I highly recommend trying this place if you’re in the area or live here.

Staying next door at the LaQuinta & saw how busy they always were so wanted to give them a try. Also have watched them sweeping the parking lot in the mornings to clear it of trash.
Bouncer greeted you at the door; checking guys for weapons & I had to open my purse for him to check inside. People were just hanging just outside the doorway so had to watch your surroundings.
Inside was a bar in the back, and plenty of tables. There was a patio on the side of the building, but never saw it from our hotel winow due to it being on the opposite side of their building.
Free warm chips & salsa. Large alcoholic drink menu and plenty of choices on authentic Mexican cuisine. We just opted for water with lemon. Open until 10 pm, which worked for us coming back to the area about 9 pm & only having to go next door afterwards. Enjoyed our selections and even had to get a takeout container for the leftovers.
Menu did offer lunch specials.
Bouncer unlocked the door to let us out. People were still hanging outside so keep aware.
Area may not be the best, but the owners keep the property cleaned up, and the inside comfortable. You can also order takeout. The restaurant is also near the Memphis airport.
If you are visiting the area, like Mexican food, and want to support local, come give them a try!

This place is very popular. Great food and the drinks are stong!!! Service is spot on!!! We eat here when we stay at the hotel next door…perfect place to stay the night before that early flight to Mexico !!! Word!

I was broken down at the Kenworth dealer about 3 tenths of a mile away. This is kind of the only option for an actual meal. I was told that this place can get a little rambunctious after a certain time. I stopped in at about 5pm. I greeted at the door and escorted to my seat. There was maybe 10 people total in the restaurant. They took my drink order and had it back in a few minutes. Then took my food order. Also was brought chips and some of the best salsa I’ve ever had. I ordered a Deluxe Burrito and it came with beans and rice. All I can say is good lord, it was amazing!! I will definitely be back.

Great Cali Burrito with seasoned chicken, steak and shrimp each individually tasty with sections spicy enough to cause a bead of sweat of two and one of the finest Amaretto Sours to hit a table in forever. Food was served hot and fresh in a lobby bustling with lively employees. Pretty decent table service but not the best ambiance ever and the queso was a little thinner than usually served.

I got the steak n shrimp with rice beans guacamole baked patato and Pico. I dont have a picture of the food but this is the drink im not a drinker ts was strong . If u looking to get twisted they gone get u there forsure. As far as the meal good wasnt nothing to crazy bit I felt like for 31 dollars with the tip included that was decent/about right ….I would go bak but the vibes be more like a club towards the night more so than a restaurant.

I went with two friends today. I my friends got 2 margaritas on the rock (11$ each) I asked for sangria (wine but was given a sangria margarita =12$) I did not say anything as I did not want to bother. My friends got a small cheese dip. 4/5$ our total came out to 52$…. The math ain’t mathing……. We didn’t really look through the receipt because we were in a hurry but when we were on our way home we started to ask why the price was what it was. It was not busy on the inside, a lot of empty tables . Not sure why we’re were overcharged. Never going again.
