Bomb food The atmosphere is a vibe and love the people that work here. Service is a 5. They have outside seating that is heated by the fire in the center of the table. Some fun activities to do while you wait. Music is always a vibe here too. A great spot for any occasion. Awesome spot!

First time customer not gonna lie, food was amazing (ordered 3 marinated pork tacos + side toppings came with), dining area & self seating besides customer service was pretty good an all (not sure if its actually self seating or not we just chose our own tables) besides the fancy looking bar to add to the esthetic, overall cant say to much bad about it, 10/10 for my first time, ill continue to support this restaurant cause why the hell not!! Keep up the good work team!! 😀

Really delicious and affordable Mexican food! So much food for what you pay for. Guacamole was fresh. Really enjoyed the shrimp and vegetable tacos! I would come back for the vegetarian tacos – peppers, mushroom, zucchini… my friend really enjoyed the beans and rice (with the onions and salsa verde mixed together) as well as the queso taco with chorizo. They have ping pong and big jenga to play while you wait for food. Plenty of free parking on the street.

I was in town visiting in the Woodstock neighborhood from Hillsboro, looking for a good Mexican joint to check out. This place was about a 10 minute walk from where I was staying on Foster Rd and I got to tell you, it was really really good. So far I’ve had a carne asada burrito, asada tacos and an asada torta. Definitely some of the best Mexican street style food I’ve had in the metro area, really on point and authentic tasting. The atmosphere is very minimal which works and the staff are absolutely delightful. I will definitely be coming back when I’m visiting again.

First time trying their food and it did not disappoint. It was authentic and delicious. I’ve never had such a flavorful horchata. The staff is so friendly and provided excellent service. The Jenga and ping-pong games were a bonus!

We stopped by on Christmas Eve and experienced a longer wait than expected (over an hour) for our tacos and veggie bowl, even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy. I understand it was a holiday and that there may have been limited staff that day. A heads-up about the wait time would have been appreciated so expectations were clear. The food was decent and communication was minimal. Just sharing our experience so others are aware.

We were visiting from out of state and were lucky enough to stumble on this gem since it was close to our Airbnb. The food and prices are FANTASTIC, and the staff were beyond friendly. We were only in town a few days but we made sure to come here multiple times to try different menu items. After some hit and miss experiences elsewhere in Portland, it was REALLY nice to have a place we knew would satisfy us 100%. You absolutely won’t regret giving them a try!

Having a taco emergency? Call “Nine Juan Juan” to solve that problem. This is my go to place for tacos, tortas, and burritos. Don’t skip the Mexican Fried Rice. The food is the best in town that I’ve had. It’s inside the FoPo Tavern, so no ambiance beyond what the bar can deliver. The folks that own the restaurant are also the people who take your order and cook your food. They’re awesome too.

When my friend invited me to try tacos at a tavern, I was initially skeptical. But, trusting his judgment, I gave it a chance – and boy, am I glad I did! The moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness and the friendly bartender who had great taste in music. After catching up, my friend recommended a few tacos and a quesadilla, and I was blown away by the incredible meat selection. I opted for three chorizo tacos, one al pastor, and a quesadilla de asada. The food arrived swiftly, and the cook personally delivered it to us at the bar, accompanied by a variety of sauces. From the first bite, I was hooked! I devoured the tacos, drenching them in sauce, and then dug into the quesadilla, which was so large we had to share it. We overheard someone raving about the pork belly tacos, so we had to try them too. The pork was tender, and the veggies were incredibly fresh. The food was genuinely amazing, and I can’t wait to return with friends to explore the rest of the menu and enjoy the atmosphere. A solid 10/10 – don’t judge this book by its cover, folks!

These tacos are amazing! I wish there was spicier salsa for the chips but that is literally my only complaint.
